As promised, I would like to announce the First Annual Halloween and Harvest Extravaganza at The Old Mill on Main.
On Friday, October 13th, the doors will open promptly at 8:00 PM and welcome any and all for an evening of dancing, food, and fun. The event will be for all ages, and costumes are highly recommended, but not required.
The evening will go until 11:00 PM. For parents with small children, we will have a special room with certified sitters and caretakers to watch over them should you find yourself unable to hire a suitable sitter.
I would like to reach out to the community for a few more hands who may want to donate items for door prizes, and takeaway gift bags at the end of the evening.
I am also looking for a few extra volunteers who would be willing to assist those who have already offered their time with some basic construction, crafting, and other small tasks.
The flyers for the event have gone out today, and I would like to thank Tea for her outstanding work on it.
