Between trips home that resulted in my age being screwed with, I never thought I'd reach this birthday. On March 28th, I'll be turning 21, which if you know me you shouldn't be surprised that I'll be throwing a big party. ~~Ignoring the fact I've been drinking ever before 21, but oops oh well.~~

Obviously, it will be at Verdant and everyone is welcome to what will be an amazing night at the club. Friends and people I love better be there unless something important comes up or I'll be sad.

Sophia's things have disappeared from my house, and messages to her bounce.

I fear she'd gone back to where she came from. Which sucks. It was not a good place for her, and I will worry about her.

And from a purely selfish point of view, I was surprised to find myself with a ward, but I liked her. I got used to the idea and I was looking forward to teaching her everything (I think) a young woman should know.

Netpost: Help Wanted

Now that the lease has been signed and the renovations are nearly complete, I can announce that I am opening a restaurant, Red On Main. On Main Street (surprise!) in Madison. It will be open for lunch and dinner.

Watertight

Well, I am now quite certain that my new home and associated outbuildings are watertight. I've inspected them all and found no leaks, no puddles where there shouldn't be, no issues at all.

So I guess I'll go for a run in the rain now. It's been a while since I ran in rain this steady. It's good practice; you don't usually get to choose when and where you have to run for your life.

This Is Not My Beautiful House

In retrospect, I suppose the first clue that things had changed around here should have been that my house is different. But two suns kinda took priority.

Anyhow, my house is bigger. Much bigger. And situated, in the immortals words of Monty Python, on "Huge tracts of land!" Literally. I have acres and acres now. More than enough space, inside and out, for every project I've ever contemplated.

Has anyone else had this happen?
