The Settlement will host a Summer Solstice bonfire and feast on the 20th.

For those who are new, and don't know of us, we more or less are a settlement of people of Norse descent, and their wards, who are much happier living off the land than modern stuff - though we aren't totally off-grid. After all, I love hot showers and so do most of my residents.

We welcome visitors, of course, and those who wish to get away from the busy life for a few hours, or more permanently - though if you want to live with us you have to pull your own weight.

Hello Madison. Bjorn has shown me how to use this device with the translator and writing using my voice as I lost my arm shortly before coming here.

My name is Torstein and I am from the village of Kattegat in Norway many years ago I am told. The land of Madison seems to be agreeable, but I have not yet left the place called the Settlement. However, the other day I did see a giant metal bird flying over the Settlement many feet in the sky. Bjorn tells me it's an airplane and there are people on it. I'm obviously not drunk enough.
