So, just found out Cassie and I missed the fair. Well, we spent the weekend in Disney world, so, can't say I regret it.

Glad to be back home though. Cassie is completely wiped and with her taking a nap, I have the entire day to myself.

So, I stand corrected about the fair, but Cassie and I spent four days in Disney world, I think it's better for all of us to sit this one out. Or perhaps visit later this evening. Cassie's taking a nap right now and I'm too busy enjoying peace and quiet.

Avoid getting the fish at the grocery store.

First they refused to part with a few hundred pounds of the stuff. Then when I ate the 'fresh' fish that I was given, it tasted bad and made me quite ill for a little while.

At first I thought it was simply because the fish was cold from being in that glass display storage thing, but after gulping down a few pounds of the stuff I knew it clearly must have been off or something.

So the beds at the shelter aren't too terrible. I've had worse anyway - at least there's a bed and I don't have to sleep on the floor. Small blessings, huh?

So they said I don't have to start school until next fall since the year's almost over, although I think I'll probably take some summer classes so I don't have to redo junior year. Anybody else taking them?
