I guess what people have told me is true. It's still hard to believe and I'm not letting my guard down just yet, but the lack of narrative hunting you down? Definitely a nice break from the norm. My norm anyway.

Still getting the damn birds outside my window, though. Even with the netting. I guess there are some things that you can't keep away.

Spring is coming (I hope), and with it, the festival of Beltane.

In honor of the Celtic fertility festival, we will be having a bonfire at a location TBD the evening of April 30th into the morning of May 1.

There will be food and drink, but the main part of this is to celebrate fertility and sexuality, so I am 100% intending this to be an orgy.

Nobody has to attend, of course, but if you do, be ready to throw away your hang-ups and inhibitions and celebrate with a free heart and body.

I don't think I will ever adjust to the idea that there are possible incursions living and walking so freely without causing catastrophic events. Not to mention the ones that were just barely beginning to be recorded in our Index that has existed for centuries without incident.

I'm still not entirely sure how to process it without driving myself absolutely insane other than investing in spiral notebooks and a lifetime supply of pens.

So I've spent the last two days walking around this place. And I don't know how the hell this is a thing, but it appears all the crazy stuff I was told when I got here is true.

I almost can't believe all the green spaces here. Or how few people there are.

And this Starbucks place is absolutely incredible. I've never paid so little for such a good cup of coffee.
