The Doctor was not a particularly happy man at the moment. Who would've been, waking up in a strange house with that woman and two small children? Thankfully they didn't seem to be his. They did seem important to him, though, according to the wall of pictures at one side of the living room.. It'd told him a lot of things, actually, in particular that whatever Leo Fitz was in that place? It wasn't him.
Ugh. Not good.
He'd deal, though. He was resilient. But before he could deal with things? He had to figure out what exactly was going on with wherever he was. Never mind that he'd found out he was in Madison Valley; that told him exactly nothing helpful.
He'd showered and changed, digging fresh clothes from the other him's closet. Ugh, the man's fashion sense was abysmal. He could work with it, but really. It was like the other him constantly got dressed in the dark, no matter what. It was kind of ridiculous, honestly. Well, more than kind of. But he finally managed to make himself look something approximating presentable and headed out to see what the godforsaken place had to offer.
Which, as it turned out, wasn't much of anything. But as he walked down the street, hands tucked in his coat pockets, he was on the alert for anything that might prove him wrong. He didn't ordinarily enjoy being proven wrong, but in this case? He'd take it.
