Reileen had started the morning like every other. She had coffee, a Japanese style breakfast, and headed into work. But that was the end of her normal day. Just as she opened the lab doors she was knocked off her feet by a wave of power, she came to a stop against a wall.

Pissed, she pulled herself up.

As she was doing this, the glimmering bridge of the bifrost shot out of the doors, and into the sky above Madison Valley. It didn't last long, it reached the edge of the Dome then started disappearing from the lab outwards until it hit the wall of the Dome and a shower fell upon the city, the drops of water glittering like rainbows.

She was bursting through the lab doors by then, following the trail left behind, long legs covering ground quickly. The doors were gone, but that was okay, she could deal with that later. Bursting into Jane's lab, she found the room empty except a glittering chunk of the bifrost sitting on the floor.

She punched the comm on the wall, calling the head of security down. Valkyrie was already on the move by the time the call came through, and she rounded the corner and almost crashed into Reileen.

She left the woman standing there as she walked to the chunk and crouched down. She pulled her phone out and called Bruce. "Get your ass to Jane's lab space. I think she found the bifrost. But it didn't stay open." She hung up then called Darcy.

"Come to the labs. Jane's gone."
