Tiny child shaped people are usually rubbish at talking or being anything other than small people. But they are really dedicated to fetch when they're throwing a stick, I'll give them that. They hit you in the head a few times, but they keep right on going. Which is brilliant for a dog.

There's a million women with all the same face. Usually it's just one or two. Good for them it's not a hag face.

Hello,

I’m afraid I don’t know everyone else here well enough yet to send out personal invitations, but I suppose it’s best I ‘broadcast’ anyway, in hopes everyone who might be interested has the opportunity to come along.

My name is Hermione Granger and as I believe there are many magic users here in Storybrooke of varying skills not to mention worlds, I’m proposing the idea a study group of sorts, one based purely on magical education.

Nothing terribly formal, at least not at first. These regular meetings would provide not only an opportunity for some, like myself to learn, but for anyone who might be interested in refining their spellwork or magic techniques. As I expect there are varying levels of abilities amongst those of us here, I'm certain we'd have enough collective experience and knowledge to make a study group well worthwhile.

I was fortunate enough to arrive with my luggage for Hogwarts, so I’ve quite a few magical theory texts and several spellbooks allocated for my seventh year, as well as various supplementary texts we might refer to. Furthermore we'd have the fascinating opportunity to discuss and learn about other magical disciplines from other worlds.

You’re welcome to leave a note here if you’d like; if you'd prefer to contribute or learn, or perhaps both. Once we have a date and a place settled, I'll let everyone know via the network and you're just as welcome to simply turn up.

Perhaps we could see about booking a room at the Library if there's enough interest?

And to anyone going to school around here, do they teach that stuff in class here? Because, seriously, pretty sure fairytale anatomy should be on the regular curriculum in these parts. Where are the lessons on unicorn anatomy? Centaurs? Dragons? How do they work? How does any of this stuff work with each other? Death, dying, breathing, reproduction, the whole nine yards! You're letting me down, Storybrooke. The school board should really start thinking about these things. I don't have kids but can I join the PTA or something and bring this stuff up? Just think about it! Knowledge is power or something like that.

...I'm bored okay? It's this or I start waking up people in the middle of the night with light shows made of awesome. Pretty sure that one would have me in jail for disturbing the peace and I don't think anyone is gonna spring for my bail.

I never knew how much work kittens were before they were weaned. There's a mother cat at the animal shelter with more than she can possibly feed all at once. The smallest one keeps getting pushed away by the others when it tries, so I've been trying feed it myself, with an eyedropper. I'm not sure it knows who or what I am or what's even going on since its eyes haven't even opened yet. I never really thought of my own cat, back home, ever being this small. ~~I wonder if he's being taken care of, if he misses~~ Obviously, he was, but he was already three months old when I got him. I never thought of how small he must have been before that.

I'm still without a wand, but it's getting a bit easier, getting used to having to do things by hand instead. It's strange, I've been here weeks and yet I still keep reaching for it as though it's going to miraculously be there.
