Dear world cup fans who frequently visit the Tavern

I love watching sports as much as the next person, and thanks to all of you, I've actually been making decent wages from tips for once.

However, I'd like to make a few things clear

Any and all fights that break out only make more work for me and the other servers by having us clean up broken glasses and tossed food. I don't care if you made a bet on a loosing team or the other team is made up of 'tools'-if you need to throw a few punches, then do it outside.

Next time a fight breaks out on my watch, I'll be forced to demonstrate how to make and detonate homemade teargas.

Okay. On Saturday, if the weather's any good, I'm going to go swim at the beach. If there's anyone who maybe isn't a very strong swimmer, let me know beforehand so I can lifeguard. I'll probably head there about 2pm and stay until a bit before 4 so let's say supervised swimming from 2-3.30. Just look for:



and say hi. (I don't know if that picture's actually a bottlenose but I don't think there'll be any other dolphins around.)

If there's nearly four months until the next school year I've got to get some kind of job, I guess, maybe part time? I don't know. Are there rules about this? Obviously I'm really good with animals and both my parents are vets. We have a wildlife rehab centre in our barn too. But I'm only 16 which probably cuts down on my options. Are there any animal places sort of short on staff or anything?
