So many members of my family are gone now. It's strange, I'm so used to be surrounded by Weasley's and Potters.

It looks like I won't be needing to teach magical students after all. I doubt I would be useful to other magic users as I'm sure their magic is different.

Has anyone seen my Da- er, Remus Lupin? I went looking for him, but I haven't had any luck finding him.

So things aren't too different here to back home which is good. Plus having some family here is good too. I've spent a lot of my time in the library which I joined nearly straight away, I've also managed to secure myself a job as a PA to someone at City Hall. So far that involves filing and getting them cups of coffee, not that I mind. It is a job and I can therefore support myself which is the main thing.

I'm thinking I need to take up some exercise while I'm here but I've always preferred working out in a group - would anyone be interested in either forming a group or is there one I can join?

How are all of you settling in though?

How would everyone feel about a huge picnic next weekend? There are still loads of you I have never met and I'm sure that's true for several others here. We could all take some time to get to know each other or catch up with people we haven't seen in a while, yeah? It could be fun!

Saturday in the park at say noon? Everyone can bring a dish to share!

We went through a portal together - me and my sister. I told her we'd just have a look around and go right back. This is not good at all. Our parents will be worried sick. And my boyfriend...

Hey all of you. I've heard that there's a massive amount of us and, being the nosy bint that I am, I wanted to know who is all here and introduce myself properly. So... you should all be a doll and reply here and do that.

To be fair, I'm Dorcas Meadowes and I showed up here a few days ago. I'm twenty-one and it was August of 1981 when I left, so I'm kind of in a culture shock here. Getting used to it, though. I was an Obliviator back home.

Okay, so I have been pulled her by some sort of magical portal against our will - like the rest of you. I was supposed to be organising paperwork for my bosses meeting with the Minister but that obviously won't be happening. I was told though that some of my family - including my parents were here and if that is the case and they are at home it means we are in two places at once? So I'm here but I am also preparing the paperwork for the meeting? Ido not know how that is even possible though with the level of magic required to pull us here perhaps anything is possible?
