Does anyone else find it really weird to read news about what's going on in the rest of the country and the world? I mean, we're not really a part of it anymore. I've been keeping up with it just out of habit, but it kind of just makes me feel more cut off from everything. We're basically trapped in Crazy Land

I've also been trying to find something that might help with the gender... problem, but no luck yet, sorry. Still working on it.

Okay, I've been here long enough. I need an OB doctor. Is there anyone who has that sort of experience?

Prue's disappearance has been hard on me. I'm sorry I haven't been very talkative to either of you. I've been really scared too that either of you will leave or something's wrong with the baby. And I know that I need to talk to the both of you about these sorts of things. If I find a doctor, will both of you go to the appointment with me?

Hey, everyone.

My name is Kitty Pryde. Back in my own reality, I was the Headmistress of the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. Here in Storybrooke, I've been working with Mayor Mills to set up a communal space for all the youth, both local and displaced.

Basically, the point is that the Storybrooke Youth Center will be opening soon, to give the kids and teenagers in Storybrooke a place to hang out and have fun in a safe environment. There will be areas for athletic activity, as well as places to socialize, and even to study once school rolls around. What we're hoping is that we can create a space where the young people in town can interact in a safe environment that promotes positive attitudes.

The point of this post is that the center will need staff. I will be running things, along with my colleague, Logan Howlett, but we definitely need more people in order to get this operation up and running. If you're interested, please contact me here, or you can email your information to me at pryde.katherine@storybrooke.gov. We really appreciate any support that we can get.

Also, classes will be staring at the Elementary, Junior High and High Schools, as well as the Community College, on September 3, the Tuesday following labor day. All children and teens under the age of eighteen are required to register for school. Please use the following form to provide your information, or that of your child, and we'll get them into the system so that they're registered for classes.

Speaking of which, it took me a while, but I finally tracked down 'Manticore' and figured out who your 'face twin' is. Or I've narrowed it down to two people, rather, and I'm really hoping it's the sane one and not the serial killer. Because apparently in some other world there was a serial killer clone running around with your face for a while.

Adding that to my mental list of reasons why I hate it when people who aren't you look like you, incidentally. It's getting to be a long list.

I found an issue of Guns and Ammo. I got to say the guns here are rather primitive and antique. Not even calibrating them would help. I suppose they get the job done however. Damn I miss my rifle.
