I forgot how much I love just lounging in the sun, it's been so long since I've actually been able to do that. I think I might be part cat because I definitely spent half the day just dozing in the sun. That's what cats do, right?

Avoiding the internet is not exactly easy. And there's a part of me that's curious to find out what is going on back home, only a small part but it's there. Well this is definitely not where I thought I'd end up when I woke up this morning.

Oh. Oh my.

I had forgotten about this.

Fitz? Are you still here? I do hope you are.

The thing is, I really did mean to post to this sooner, but I found a man in a dumpster just after I arrived. And he had a rather alarming number of injuries, which was really very worrisome when you take the dumpster into consideration. And the sensible thing to do seemed to be to take care of him first.

So he's on the sofa. My sofa, obviously. It was a bit difficult getting him back, but I managed. He's resting now.

Does anyone have any non-alcohol related sleep remedies? I have been having the worst dreams lately.

It's very strange actually thinking about Christmas. I have so many more people to buy gifts for this year and actually have time to think about gifts. It's bizarre. It will be weird not going home to see my mum though.

Well, since I've finished Sam's wings just in time for his real ones to show up...

I know we've all been through a lot over the past few months. We're no longer the cohesive little group I put together. Secrets have come out. Loyalties have been tested. Things have changed between a lot of us but Phil has stood by all of us through it. He's offered us a shoulder to cry on and a sympathetic ear. He sees the best in us when we believe it isn't there.

This party isn't about us and our faults or our feelings. It's about Phil. The least we can do, for him, is to put our differences aside and show up. We can take this day to show him just how much we care and how much he means to us. Afterwards we can all go back to our respective corners.

The only thing I find myself hating about this place is that when you need to get away, there aren't many places to go. I thought about going camping but I don't think me in the woods is good plan.

Coulson and I have come to the conclusion that Ward has made enough progress to remain alive. He is well aware that none of you will be expected to treat him any differently than you already do nor are under any obligation to forgive him in the future. But he has demonstrated a desire to improve as well as a sincerity that both Coulson and myself do not believe can be faked.

He is also aware that any of us can and will put him down should the situation change, or we become aware that he was lying to us about this reform.

For those of you unaware of the current situation, it seems that one of our operatives currently here has turned out to be Hydra. Friday morning, Grant Ward revealed his affiliation and offered up a name of 24 mid and lower level operatives also involved in Hydra as well as one level nine of which we were not already aware.

After lengthy debate, May, Barton, Coulson, and I have resolved that we will first attempt to turn his allegiances before any other actions are taken. As such, the protocol for turning an asset has been invoked with Agent Barton taking the lead. Progress will be assessed through out the month and should there be no signs of improvement within that time, other steps will be taken.

I understand that some of you may not agree, but this decision is the one which has been agreed upon to have the most potential for success with the least amount of fallout, and I hope that you respect the decision whether or not you consider it the right one.

Complaints are welcome, but they won't impact anything.

It's such a shame that Peggy's gone. I really did quite like her. She was a good friend. I've never had many female friends, so it was nice to have one with Skye gone. Still, it is comforting to know that she was happy and had a good life.

And it's good having Steve and Natasha back. I was worried about them.

Well, it certainly looks like things are getting more interesting around here.

Is everyone going to start bringing their crazy Nazi baggage from back home now? I'd just like a heads up if that's going to be a big thing.

I can't believe I'm asking this, but is there some kind of magic we could use to sort this out? Nothing big, but I know there's minor magic that doesn't have the same costs. It's not like everything goes to hell every time we do a locator spell. Aside from lining them up and asking point blank if they're evil while Emma uses her lie detector power, or waiting and hoping, it definitely seems like the best option.

I just don't like the idea of that kind of threat going around unchecked and unknown when Emma's pregnant. Call me overprotective, but I want to know that my family's safe.
