I hated this place on principle when I first got here. But after being stuck here for a while, its grown on me, in small ways. There's not much I miss about home, but home wasn't very welcoming for me when I came from. It was mostly made up of a few small rooms and a firmly locked door.

I hadn't expected to actually miss anything from there, but oddly, I do miss my sister. Much to my surprise.

But the best part of this place is the freedom. People say whatever they want. Even when it would probably be smarter not to, they still can say it.

What does everyone else miss most from their home? Or like the best here?

Yes, people from low-food worlds. I know the food is good.

Our little town seems to be filling up rather quickly. I'll just be happy if no one else with my face shows up.

Alright. So. I'm Doctor Victor Whale, as many of you who've been here for quite sometime know already. Unfortunately, I've never really had the time to get around to actually posting on this lovely little network here, because I've been far too busy making sure that all of you wonderful displaced people get all of the special medical attention that you require.

Speaking of special medical attention, if you're a vampire, remember, you must come down to the hospital and register your name at desk, so that we can put you on the list so you get your blood. And again, sorry, but not really, it's rationed, because we need blood for other important things here too, like life-saving surgery.

Also...Jo, are you pregnant? Because you called out the other day with a "stomach flu", you were pretty mean to me the other day, oh, and your breasts are bigger. Also, I'm a doctor. I notice these things. And, if you are pregnant, I know that boyfriend of yours used to be a vampire, so you might want to check into the possibility that you're carrying an antichrist or whatever other kind of baby former vampires and a witch are capable of making.

This is astonishing! A world in which there are no servants or lords. I'm unsure how to proceed. I suppose I shall have to get a job like a peasant! So novel. Do tell me there are places available for a prince? I saw a stable.

Anyone care for a few hands of cards? It's not got the same satisfying clink to it, taking money instead of gold or goods, but it's still fun enough.

Some of the folks getting drunk at our bar fancy poker, but if there's another game of choice, I can learn to take all your money in another one, too.

Hello, Storybrooke! Nice little town here, I gotta say. Very picturesque. Seriously, it's giving me warm feelings for some hot chocolate right now, even if it is a billion degrees out right now.

Now before, I forget my manners, introductions. I'm Janet Van Dyne, Avenger and fashion designer extraodinaire. Also, speaking of Avengers, I saw some names on this thing that looked pretty familiar to me. Hi guys!

Grace insists that communicating with everyone, new arrivals included, will be good for me. After hearing about that incident with the grenade I'm sure we're better off keeping to ourselves.

There's Wonderland rejects here, and a Hatter who isn't me.

The other realities were always spin off of our own. There might be doubles or triples or starts and restarts. But in every reality I was in, there were no Snow Whites, no Hatters, no Queens of Hearts who weren't in stories based on ours. The Enchanted Forest, Neverland, Wonderland, the world without color. They all orbited out from ours, everywhere I went. We were the core. The stories came from us, however warped they got.

Now we might be just another layer.

How deep does the rabbit hole go?

We might actually be screwed.

On the up side, maybe that means there's a reality where the Evil Queen is in a dungeon manned by trolls, and Wonderland was destroyed.

Out of Wonderland and into Storybrooke. I guess I shouldn't even be surprised at this point.

Hi, everyone. I'm Alice.

Hey, everyone.

My name is Kitty Pryde. Back in my own reality, I was the Headmistress of the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. Here in Storybrooke, I've been working with Mayor Mills to set up a communal space for all the youth, both local and displaced.

Basically, the point is that the Storybrooke Youth Center will be opening soon, to give the kids and teenagers in Storybrooke a place to hang out and have fun in a safe environment. There will be areas for athletic activity, as well as places to socialize, and even to study once school rolls around. What we're hoping is that we can create a space where the young people in town can interact in a safe environment that promotes positive attitudes.

The point of this post is that the center will need staff. I will be running things, along with my colleague, Logan Howlett, but we definitely need more people in order to get this operation up and running. If you're interested, please contact me here, or you can email your information to me at pryde.katherine@storybrooke.gov. We really appreciate any support that we can get.

Also, classes will be staring at the Elementary, Junior High and High Schools, as well as the Community College, on September 3, the Tuesday following labor day. All children and teens under the age of eighteen are required to register for school. Please use the following form to provide your information, or that of your child, and we'll get them into the system so that they're registered for classes.

Storybrooke seems very accommodating so far. As far as recent kidnappings go, this one is actually very nice. I could use a vacation. Lord knows that mess with Killian is going to leave me with so much paperwork when we get back

Dr. Banner, it looks like Tony and I will be staying with you. I hope that won't be a problem. I know we haven't really gotten a chance to get to know each other yet, but I always look forward to meeting Tony's friends.

Now that I've settled in a bit, I guess I should think about finding a job.

Today is my birthday.

I don't know that I'll be throwing any kind of grand celebration, but some pie at Granny's wouldn't go amiss.

I've learned a lot in the small amount of time that I've been here. First of all, Storybrooke doesn't seem too bad. For such a small town there are a lot of residents here, assuming a good portion of them are like me? Meaning that they are not originally from this town.

I have to say this device is quite handy. So I'm going to use this opportunity to find more family. So if you're a Weasley or a Potter or connected in anyway, let me know! I have a very large family and since timelines don't seem to matter here, who knows how many of you are out there.

The lovely Isabela and I have decided to throw in together, and we shall be opening a proper tavern down on the docks. So don't be alarm at the remodeling going on at one of the buildings down there. We're just doing our part to better the town as a whole.

Well, this is different. Can't exactly say I'm disappointed. Always preferable to not be stuck on the Other Side.

I heard you were here too, but I'm still half expecting it to be some kind of screwed up joke.

I don't even know why I'm putting this here. For all I know, there's nobody to even see it.

But...god, you have no idea how much I've missed you. And I know things were a complete mess there at the end, and that was entirely my fault, but if you are here, then I never want to leave this place, because losing you was the worst thing that ever happened to me and I don't want to do that again.

So...yeah. That's just...I wanted you to know that.

Isn't this town starting to burst at its seams? The problem with too many bodies in too little space is that they all use up things. You start to run out of food or whiskey and what choice do you have but to use magic to bring in more? And then the magic goes wrong. Maybe it even brings in more people. And then all the things are gone, and just the people left.

This is how universes end, I think.

Isn't it a good thing we have the Mayor to guide us all through this? I'm sure you'll all want to fall into line behind someone your own stories call The Evil Queen.

I'm planting a vegetable garden. I doubt it will help in time.

I guess you can teach an old pirate new tricks. This world and its technology really isn't that hard to figure out if one puts their mind to it, though I'd rather prefer not to develop a taste for it.

While the portals that brought us here are similar to an Einstein-Rosen Bridge, they aren't like any I've observed before even if I've only seen one which means they're something completely different, but have the same basic elements. If anyone can shed any light on it or has any theories about them, I'm open to hearing them.

This isn't right. It isn't right.

It's all stuck together wrong and the pieces don't fit like they should. The bits are all mixed up. They don't know where they belong any more. It's all muddled. They meddled. There's always meddling. Shouldn't meddle, but they do. Can't leave well enough and it all turns to dust and ash. They can't know. Picking and picking. Tearing at the threads until it all comes apart. Just apple bits left.

I miss the sky. There's too much sound and the air tastes funny and it's all wrong. The ground feels wrong. It's too steady but everything's shifting. It makes my head hurt. I need to be in the black. It's too solid here. Loud where it should be quiet and quiet where it should be loud. This is why you aren't supposed to meddle with things. All of it's wrong. I'm trying to work it out, but the equation doesn't work. Too many variables. It hurts my head to think about it.

Okay, I get most of this. Portals to other worlds. We're stuck in a small town in Maine with no mall. We can't leave. There's a girl who looks like my best friend but isn't a shapeshifting alien.

You know, for a cute, ordinary-looking little town in Maine, you guys sure do handle interdimensional portals with aplomb. I guess Stephen King knew what he was doing setting all the evil up here. But then, I guess if you're used to killer magical walls, you can get used to anything.

So, speaking of magic - can somebody tell me how it works here, generally speaking? So far mine seems to work, except for being able to open a way into the fae world. Can't do that one. Any other wizards or fae here?

While you guys think about it, I think I'm gonna go look for a job. I haven't gotten to have a normal one in years.

Oh my god no freaking way this is AHHHH okay I can't say I always wanted to go to Maine because uh Stephen King is a good enough reason. Not the guy himself, don't know how creepy he is, but mostly because every messed up thing he writes about is in this state. And I can totally see it right now. I know there was that weird portal thing the aliens went through back home, but I should NOT be a part of it because I'm sidekick #2.
