So, I think I need a Halloween costume. I haven't dressed up in a long time, but this year it feels like I should. I mean, there's got to be Halloween parties going on. I just don't know what I should dress up as. I should probably ask Annabeth what she's thinking of. I am so glad she's a girl again. That was weird.

Apparently my word isn't good enough for my best friend.

Any single guys out there up to experimenting with me until my so called best friend decides I might actually mean it when I say that I think I'm into him?

I still need a costume for the Halloween dance. Does anyone want to go shopping with me? It's always easier to pick something when I have a second opinion!

Costume shopping is ridiculous.

I look ridiculous in almost everything I've tried.

It looks like I was worried about the wrong thing. I should have been worried more about passing Trigonometry thank Merlin I had the textbook right next to me than learning how to help James take care of our son. He keeps saying I'm a natural and he must be right. Taking care of Harry is easy compared to this homework

Does anyone know anything about Trigonometry? I thought going to primary school before Hogwarts would make school here easier. I should be more used to muggle classes than this And might be willing to help me get a better grasp on it?

You know what's kind of comforting? Even in a weird town in the middle of Maine full of magic and superheroes, Microsoft Word still sucks. That's what I get for being lazy and just using what was already installed. Half an essay trashed.

Watching new fall TV is weird when you've met some of the people.

I miss the warm LA weather.

And on another note...my bruise is not a very pretty color. Stupid landings.

School here is even worse than back home. Seriously boring and it's only the beginning of the year.

For a place full of people with super powers, school still feels kind of mundane. I guess some things don't change.

So far there's no animal attacks, so it might actually be more mundane. That's not a complaint though.

How is everything going? Your crew settling in? Are you sleeping?

School started up for us. It's pretty strange being in classes with people you grew up seeing in comic books. But probably still not as bizarre as having your alien girlfriend friends end up here and human.

I really like going to school here. It's still strange to not worry about being attacked by monsters constantly, but I actually like it. Normal isn't so bad.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm feeling a little homesick. I miss my mom and Jimena and Tianna not really her and Michael Planet Bang. Just everything. I know this is a small town, but it really sucks that they don't have a place for us to go dancing here

This place is pretty different from Los Angeles, but I guess it's pretty nice. I miss home, but Storybrooke isn't completely without its charms. It seems really weird that people are disappearing when none of us can seem to leave if we want, though. I mean, I wish there was a way to go home. How are some people managing it, if that's even where they've gone?

Ugh, it makes my head hurt just thinking about it!

But in happier news, guess who made the soccer team at school?

No, see, I need to be in L.A. with my friends helping them. This is not going to be very conducive to helping fight against the Followers who would like to decimate us.

Hey, everyone.

My name is Kitty Pryde. Back in my own reality, I was the Headmistress of the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. Here in Storybrooke, I've been working with Mayor Mills to set up a communal space for all the youth, both local and displaced.

Basically, the point is that the Storybrooke Youth Center will be opening soon, to give the kids and teenagers in Storybrooke a place to hang out and have fun in a safe environment. There will be areas for athletic activity, as well as places to socialize, and even to study once school rolls around. What we're hoping is that we can create a space where the young people in town can interact in a safe environment that promotes positive attitudes.

The point of this post is that the center will need staff. I will be running things, along with my colleague, Logan Howlett, but we definitely need more people in order to get this operation up and running. If you're interested, please contact me here, or you can email your information to me at pryde.katherine@storybrooke.gov. We really appreciate any support that we can get.

Also, classes will be staring at the Elementary, Junior High and High Schools, as well as the Community College, on September 3, the Tuesday following labor day. All children and teens under the age of eighteen are required to register for school. Please use the following form to provide your information, or that of your child, and we'll get them into the system so that they're registered for classes.
