Well, Jess is resting, which is pretty well deserved since she just added a whole new person to the world.

Speaking of, Miriam Edith Barton was born at 3 in the morning. She came into the world screaming and covered in someone else's blood. So in that respect, she's a lot like most of her family on a given Wednesday back home.

I never actually bought into that whole parents thinking their babies are perfect thing, but...yeah. She is pretty damn flawless.

How the heck did I help make that.

It's never a good idea to complain about things being sleepy, because that's always when they wake up just to kick you. But there is just not a lot happening in fairytale Maine, is there? I make my own fun, but my fun has run into some repetitive cycles.

I've found a lot of spare parts and could rig it up - how about a town-wide, volunteer-based game of laser tag? Winners have bragging rights, those who can fly or have superpowers are on the honor system.

Now, I've learned to deal with my powers, use them to my advantage and all that but something has come up. I'm pregnant. I've got an OB and she's great but I'm worried about the ramifications of my powers on the baby. Would you be willing to monitor me and the baby? Just to keep an eye on things? A town full of people from different worlds, magic and powers that make no sense, no ability to leave, and a lot of good looking people, some of which seem to like to run a lot.

It just still feels wrong for there not to be a Doctor around, doesn't it?

Has anyone done any kind of study on how improbable it is that the curse/spell/magic/term of choice seems to grab only the attractive?
