I have decided that, in honor of this rather odd, bird slaughtering, festival of over-eating...and yes, I have learned to use the internet and this seems to be how this 'Thanksgiving' festival is celebrated...I will be making a turkey and stuffing. I haven't quite gotten the 'how' down yet but, I figure it can't be much harder than doing it campfire style.

Take bird, add fire, eat eventually. I think it's a splendid plan.

Neria, Sarissa, and even you Fenris, are all more than invited to join me. If any else finds themselves in need of someone to eat with, even if I can't make any promises to the quality of food, you're welcome to join me.

Here's the saddest story you'll ever hear. Because of the fact that I've been finding not only this whole displacement completely mad and I'm just going to skip over the part where Fred is here and very much not dead and figuring out that this whole thing has actually put me into a completely different year, I pretty much almost missed that my birthday was coming up.

As in it's today.

I told you it was a sad story.

What I've decided however is to find the best pub -- as in the one with the best beers -- and have myself a few drinks. Considering that I'm missing a few close friends, I welcome virtually any and everyone to join me. Unless you're a complete twat. Then you can just stay away.

Hello, everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Sarissa, and I've just joined Storybrooke General. I specialize in rehab nursing, but at the moment I've been assigned to the general pool.

I brought one of Granny's pies. It's in the staff room for anyone who wants a slice.

The cool day we are having speaks of fall settling in. About now is when I would normally be preparing to sail off for warmer waters. I do not fancy weathering out the winter. Alas what is one to do.

And there are all sorts of supernatural things here. Vampires, werewolves, wizards, witches, superheroes, faeries, not to mention the Winter Knight and the Winter Lady.

Just...wow.

It's almost as weird as the Nevernever.
