Mayor Mills, I know this isn't exactly the normal route to take, but given we live in a magical town governed by random portals, and you and Clint are friendly, I thought I'd try this first.

With the town closed and the population going up and down constantly, I figured there probably wasn't much available real estate, aside from the apartments. But given the size of our household and how often one or another of them picks up strays, I'd like to find a house to move them all in to (assuming they're willing).

Before I start floating the idea, I was wondering if you might know of some place? Or even some open land, or who to talk to. They have too much time on their hands, maybe I can make them build instead of find stray cats.

Any help you can give would be welcome.

I've already shared this information with Sheriff Swan, but given recent circumstances, I thought it best to share with everyone else as well so they at least know what we're dealing with. Most from my universe are familiar with Deadpool, but for everyone that isn't, he can be largely unpredictable due to mental instability; he's helped us out in the past but he's also known to create chaos when the whim strikes him if he's not reined in. He possesses a healing factor that allows him to regrow limbs and vital organs, and makes him largely immune to drugs and poisons. Agility, durability, speed and reflexes are also enhanced. He's skilled in most weapons, hand to hand combat, and obviously, he knows his way around explosives. Others from my world might be able to add additional details.

In short, detaining him can be extremely problematic. However, particularly given the events with the explosion and his recent statement about having some secret plot involving Bruce, a coordinated long term game plan seems wise. I thought it best to start by getting everyone on the same page going forward, and Sheriff Swan, please know you'll have any assistance necessary if need be. You've opened your town to us, and I have every desire to help keep it safe.

There is a pile of drunk, sleeping people in a fort on my floor. I took down some of the blankets to cover them up and I think someone called me a demolition asshole. I have no idea which one. The cats are wearing capes, and Cap-the-other didn't need a blanket because Clint is using him for a body pillow.

I'm back. It was only a day or so here. It was a little longer at home.

So I haven't brought home a stray in at least two weeks and So I was thinking, Katniss has been really great for me. She's an awesome kitten and her grumpy face brings me joy.

I know you've already seen the announcement, but I wanted to say something personally.

Neither of you need to forgive, or forget. I understand if you don't, and I wouldn't blame you. I don't expect you to look the other way, and if you're angry for the call I made, I understand that, too. If you want me to, I can tell you my reasoning, and why Ward is still alive. We ran through a lot of them.

But in the end it boils down to us being here, in a place where things that happened at home haven't happened yet, and being in a place where Ward is no threat and has a shot at being someone better. At home, SHIELD is Hydra. Somewhere along the way we became something we never wanted to be. Here, I don't want to be the kind who puts down a former teammate, even when he's not a threat.

If he becomes a danger though, we're still the kind of people who protect our own, and those who need it, though. Whatever else we are.

I can't believe that in a few months some of us will have been here for a year. It's just hard to even comprehend that, especially knowing all that's happening back home. It's just...really a lot.

Still, there are definitely some positives to being here, and I do like it. I just sometimes wish there was a way to go home.
