So, this is a pretty elaborate set up. I'm impressed. But I'm dubious about the theme. Fairy tales are overdone. It's a waste of staging to go for a whitebread town where Snow White supposedly lives.

I never got that story anyway. I mean, when did necrophilia start to count as romantic?

Now that I'm impressed, I'd like to be done with this, now.

I never knew how much work kittens were before they were weaned. There's a mother cat at the animal shelter with more than she can possibly feed all at once. The smallest one keeps getting pushed away by the others when it tries, so I've been trying feed it myself, with an eyedropper. I'm not sure it knows who or what I am or what's even going on since its eyes haven't even opened yet. I never really thought of my own cat, back home, ever being this small. I wonder if he's being taken care of, if he misses Obviously, he was, but he was already three months old when I got him. I never thought of how small he must have been before that.

I'm still without a wand, but it's getting a bit easier, getting used to having to do things by hand instead. It's strange, I've been here weeks and yet I still keep reaching for it as though it's going to miraculously be there.

As much as I have an aversion to parties now a days, I think Valentine's Day is a perfect excuse to have a singles party.

I guess we could have a singles blind date thing too, if anyone's interested in that side.

Right, I'm all for true love and everything, but is there anything cool going on Valentine's day for those of us who DON'T have a sweetheart?

Or should I just make plans to spend quality time with a pint on ice cream?

I think that I've finally (sort of) come to terms with this whole dying back home thing. Looking around on this network thing, it seems that I'm not the only person with such a "fate" so... I'm no special snowflake.

I reckon that means I need to find a job now, since apparently we're all actually stuck here. Starting over is weird, but kind of nice at the same time. You know, what with that whole "about to die" thing hanging over my head.

There probably isn't a huge need for someone that erases and changes memories for a living here, huh? No? Who knew.

Hey all of you. I've heard that there's a massive amount of us and, being the nosy bint that I am, I wanted to know who is all here and introduce myself properly. So... you should all be a doll and reply here and do that.

To be fair, I'm Dorcas Meadowes and I showed up here a few days ago. I'm twenty-one and it was August of 1981 when I left, so I'm kind of in a culture shock here. Getting used to it, though. I was an Obliviator back home.

All right, then. I was brought up to speed, someone showed me how to use this bloody thing (good thing, too, or I'd have probably stared at it for a minute and then pitched it in the bin), and I'm coping with the fact that I'm apparently stuck here for the unforeseeable future. I'm not entirely happy with that news, but I'm on my way to accepting it or, at the very least, not making as many angry faces.

I was kind of in the middle of something back home, so has anyone gotten closer to figuring out how to get us back there? Would like to finish that up, if you don't mind.
