Well, now Cleveland is beginning to look like it was a better alternative after all.

I was greeted by a fairy dressed as a nun, and then told to talk to people via a tiny computer. I'm not entirely sure this isn't a hell dimension. But hello, then. If it's demons bent on torment reading this, just bring on some hellishly fancy coffee and modern pop music and you'll be amply set to torture properly.

What the fuck is all this shit? I am so done with tiny towns and their shitty powers.

So, just to be clear, I'm here because of magic portals, and not because the Senior Partners invoked my Perpetuity Clause? I suppose that's different. At least this is nicer than Pylea, as far as alternate world go.

I'm happy here. But sometimes I don't think I deserve it.

Has it truly only been a day? It feels like so much longer.

But then, I suppose that as much as it's been a day, it's also been six and a half months.

Well, all of that is assuming that time is real, and we all know it isn't. Still, this is almost as bad as that time that eons on the subway turned out to only be four minutes.

It was nice to go home, though I find I strangely missed this place in some ways. Night Vale certainly has its charms, namely Carlos, but I really do like it here even though this place rarely makes any sort of sense.

Cecil is gone. I went by to see if he wanted to get lunch and he's gone.

Hopefully, he's back with Carlos. I know he missed him.

You know, I was looking forward to a Valentine's Day that wasn't horrifying, violent and bloody. It just felt like it would be a nice change. Something different. From what everyone said, Valentine's outside of Night Vale is sweet and romantic.

But...I don't know. Mostly it's just lonely. And depressing. I think I would take horror and bloodshed and overwhelming existential terror over this.

But maybe I'm just being maudlin.

I miss Carlos.

I also miss having an intern. But that's a little different.

Guess I should find a job, seeing as how we're stuck here. Anyone got anything for a vampire slayer bartender or something? I can do security, too.

I really thought nothing could be worse than Dana disappearing back through a portal to a plane of existence not aligned in space and time.

I was mistaken.

Carlos being taken back through a portal is infinitely worse.

I've never seen magic quite like this. It's pretty impressive. And a little scary. Sort of in the middle.

Time-traveling magic portal, huh? Can't say that's really the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me, but it maybe falls in the top twenty. Maybe. I've never made a list of weird things that've ever happened to me. Though maybe I should one of these days. Right now, I'm mostly curious as to what kind of magic there is here, I can feel a lot of types, all different from mine.

So, I’ve been sitting here with this mocha trying to figure out what I’m doing. There are so many networks to look at, and this laptop is really a piece of work, to think back to my old clunky one…science never stops with the impressing. I think I’m trying to just not think about the Hellmouth right now, somehow it has to have something to do with this. I mean, you don’t just kill stop that much evil with no backlash, right? This mocha is really good, whipped cream goodness on top. Oh, oh! Hi, by the way, hi. I’m Willow Rosenberg of Sunnydale California, it doesn’t exist anymore…I wonder if it ever existed here.

This isn’t exactly my first dimensional crazy fun time; only, my counterpart was the one that came through. Little different being on the other side. I am ramble girl right now, sorry. There’s just so much to take in still, did I mention this is a really good mocha? Sugar rush, here I come!

I have to admit I am looking forward to the new school year. As of this afternoon I am the new Computer Science teacher at the local high school. I admit they were hesitant to hire me at first but I am glad that they did so.

She is an ancient god who currently resides within the body of Winifred Burkle, one of our former former former team members. While we were at odds before, she now is one of us. She may be abrupt and aggressive, that is her way. Please do treat her with courtesy and respect.

I have yet to introduce myself on here, but that's what working with wild magic will do. Takes time. I'm Mr. Gold, I own the pawn shop, among a variety of other properties. I am looking for magical volunteers to investigate the portals, and to possibly give us an early glance at how your magics may interfere with the current tenuous stability.

They said Tara is here. I asked them and they said she's here! Please. Please, someone tell me where she is. I have to see her. I just got here and I don't really know where everything is yet and I'm trying to figure out this new technology (which is really neat by the way), but it's really important I see Tara Maclay.
