Getting that out of the way, I would like to take a moment to make a formal declaration of thanks to the Storybrooke welcoming committee for helping prevent what could have been a very confusing time, and for providing me with this nice way to get in contact with the general population. I understand that this transplanting process is pretty common here and I have to say I am impressed with the way it's being handled. Having done this on more than one occasion myself, I can tell you it almost never goes this smoothly.

For those of who aren't familiar with me, my name is Steven Grant Rogers, Captain. There's a pretty good chance you might know me more by the work suit than the street clothes, and I apologize for the lack of the latter. I promise it's something I'll fix, since walking around as Captain America doesn't seem like the most comfortable thing in the world. I understand it there's a youth center here as well and a gym? I'd assume that, besides Granny's, this is likely where you can find me easily from time to time.

To those of you who do know me?

Sorry I'm late. You know how us old men can be.

I think it's been long enough that we can all put that movie behind us and say, yes, it was pretty bad. As much as I'd love to live in a world where I just watched Captain America punch people for a few minutes I can't.

Instead of focusing on bad media representations of lives let's enjoy the good ones. Or the ones that are so bad they lead to good moments. Like Spider-man cartoons. Or terrible Punisher movies that just lead to an annoyed Frank swearing when movie!Frank sits down to have dinner with people Frank was urging him, unsuccessfully because it's a movie, to punch.

We all have something to be embarrassed about or not feel too good about. For example, Frank pointed out that ( this happened. )

Wow. We've certainly gotten a lot of new people here in Storybrooke these past couple of weeks.

Some of you who've been here awhile already know me, but for those of you who don't, I'm Ashley Boyd, Storybrooke native. And to avoid being asked, back in the Enchanted Forest, I was Cinderella. So....Ashley or Ella is fine, I guess. I'm sorry I really haven't been around on the network that much to get to talk to you that much, but having a two-year-old keeps you pretty busy.

I work at Granny's, so feel free to say hi if you see me. Also, for those of you with little ones, I teach a parenting class at Granny's Bed and Breakfast on weekday afternoons from two to four. The class if free, and parents with little ones are welcome to swing by!

So from my understanding over the time I've spent on Miss Simmons' couch is...pretty much the basics of this place. Alternate universe, my-life-is-a-tv-show I think worse things have happened. Like the voice on this thing that reads back everyone's posts to me. But from what I can tell...the biggest worry in this place is where the bar is and what is going on in everyone's show that I'm not all too worried about anything else. Or trying not to be. I'm Matt Murdock. I'll find my way around this place in no time, just need to get a start.

I think it'll start with not sleeping on Jemma's sofa and finding a place to live.

You know what's kind of weird?

Finding pictures of yourself on half the products in the grocery store. That's pretty weird. Although those cool ranch Doritos aren't half bad.

Now that that's out of the way... I'm a little jealous of all the duplicates running around. Even Bucky-formerly-Cap has a Bucky-potentially-Cap. I think I deserve a Peter Parker duplicate. I want to teach him all I know. Pass on the knowledge that no one will pay you for pictures of Spider-man in this world. They're called selfies here and I invented them.

So. Baby bro is totally napping out and I am thinking of taking a web-sling around the towers. Keep the skills sharp. Any of the other slingers up for a race?

That being said, it's also probably going to work me up an appetite, and I really should consider getting back to some semblance of actual life. So. Combine these things with lunch at Granny's and then a serious discussion about employment for anyone looking? My skills include science, costume repair, inventing, and obviously baking.

And I'm awesome-not awesome- at interviews.

So, I gather there's been another round of this places rather famous disappearing acts huh? I might not have the best leg up on Granny's in the whole wide world but, if anyone's in need of a cupcake/cookie delivery, I can totally accommodate. Delivery's can be made via the window, for those of you who'd like a bit of costumed flare, or on foot.

Christmas was nice. Kind of weird without Aunt May or Johnny but still nice. I had Spider-man ornaments on my tree.

So... there's going to be a New Year's ball? Really? Like one of those things you read about in fairytales or you imagine rich people with more money than Tony Stark throwing? And anyone can come?

So... this is new.

I mean. I'm not sure the portal was supposed to take me here. Or maybe it was. The lack of certain people (and I use that in the loosest sense of the word) kinda makes me think that I've been ditched.
