Ramadan Mubarak everyone!

I know I'm extremely late but it's been difficult in celebrating this month without my family. I'm doing my best to fast accordingly--I even prayed on time each day, holy cow--but then iftar comes around and then the realization that I'm here and my friends and family aren't hits me and yeah it hurts. But I decided to not let it get me down! So if anyone is interested in joining me for iftar--that's the moment Muslims break their fast with loads of food when the sun sets for all of the non-Muslims out there--let me know. I might not be the best cook but I have a few tricks up my sleeves.

We can even make it a potluck.

It is for reesons like these that magic cannot be trusted. It takes without asking and is never truly what you wish it to be.

I know some of the stories here. I've heard before, but I haven't. And you can talk from faraway on this. It carries through electricity. Like magic.

It makes noises like clicking when you push letters. I like that.

Some of the people here walked out of stories into a world that's more real to people here, and less to them. I wish Varric was here. Maybe he could meet his stories and see them the way he does in his head.

Hello people whose faces I know. And people whose faces I don't know. The faces don't matter so much, but it's nice to see the same ones sometimes.

Had some time today so I tried a new method of doing my nails. They kind of look like an acid tripping Jackson Pollock got lost at the carnival but I'm keeping them.

All right. Like Principal Coulson said, classes will be staring at the Elementary, Junior High and High Schools, as well as the Community College, on September 2, which is this Tuesday. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Kitty Pryde, the town's educational advisor.I'll be taking registration for any recent arrivals, as well as updating information for our other residents. All children and teens eighteen and under are required to register for school. Please use the following form to provide your information, or that of your child, and we'll get everyone into the system and registered for classes.

We'll be doing one on one counseling for high school and college students, to help them pick classes. The first week here is spent helping people to settle in, as we know there are often unique circumstances for our students.

Additionally, we could use some more help at the Youth Center, as several of our staff have been sent back to their own realities. We'll be having an open house next weekend so we hope to see you all there.

Hello, Storybrooke! Nice little town here, I gotta say. Very picturesque. Seriously, it's giving me warm feelings for some hot chocolate right now, even if it is a billion degrees out right now.

So. The school year is just about over and I'm still living in an Ultron-free world with parents and now a sister. Pretty normal, right? Who wants to fill me in on what normal teenagers do during the summer. I hope it doesn't involve more time trapped within a school.

I think there's some things people aren't meant to know. But how do I deal, since now I do know?

I feel like Lilo already without a Nani. Now...do I try to forget? Just...keep living as if I don't know what's going to happen when I go back?

I got an ant-farm! This is AWESOME. There are NOT enough science books at the library or used bookstore though. I did find a really nice journal for my ant farm and a pen to go with it.

If I'm going to be here I should get a job. I have no skills beyond getting things out of high places and a lifetime spent around heroes. Is there somewhere that needs a slightly underage employee? I can be a lot taller if that helps?

Shopping for prom dresses is ridiculously hard. They're all so ruffly and pastel.
