Coffee is a wonderful creation. Why haven't I realized this before? Coffee and Orange is the New Black. I love them both.

Though I think I need something new to do other than watch Netflix all day.

Joan Watson is not at your disposal. You both have your own Watsons, inferior though they may be, and it does not trouble us if they are here or not. You cannot go about using her as their stand-in. She has a life of her own and, when she chooses, remains my partner.

I have, of course, discussed this with her, so do not think I am dictating anything she would not agree with.

You know, this normal life thing?

It's alright. I've been here for a while and I miss Sam like hell but I haven't had to run for my life once. No apocalypses to stop or angels to deal with. Nothing to hunt. My girlfriend is here and safe. I don't get twitchy walking down the street at night. I may actually get to be an old man someday if I stay here.

I don't know why I started thinking about all this. It's just nice, I guess, to not be the person I am back there. Son of a bitch, enough of this sappy stuff, I'm going to get pie.
