Just a quick question, have any of you been tasting burned shoelaces since arriving? Smelling wet asphalt maybe? Or any strange dots showing up on your skins that take on shapes? Could be a unicorn, or a walrus, anything like that.

Also, hello! Brilliant little town you have here. I woke up in a room with curtains. Never had curtains before; well, that's not true, when I was at Craig's home he had curtains, but really... they weren't mine and I was on assignment. Sort of.

Anyway, if you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, don't be alarmed. You're likely suffering from temporal misalignment syndrome and your body's rejecting your mixed timelines and realities; but really, it's perfectly natural... in a completely unnatural situation such as this. But if you are, let me know, and I can maybe pinpoint a problem. If not? Go back to enjoying your biscuits and your burgers.

Oh this is just brilliant. Alternate worlds, parallel dimensions, alternate dimensional worlds; pocket universes, bubble universes, I love them all really. Well not all, some of them have been a bit of a bore, others a bit smelly. This one smells just fine though, a bit metallic but also a hint of cinnamon. Tastes a bit different too, that's how you can tell it really is different. The grass tastes a bit gross. Sadly.

Anyway, hello! I'm The Doctor, lovely little town you've got here. It's always the little towns where the strange events occur isn't it? Big ones get the big events, little ones get the tiny unnoticeable events that are strange and mysterious. Very cliche, but brilliant. Stick with the classics, that's what I always say... actually not really sure I've ever said that before.

Back on track though, seems you've got a wormhole problem; it's okay, happens to most dimensions this age, definitely something I can help with I think. Though this one is just a bit more complex than I've ever seen, feels different in that way. Totally into it, love a challenge, and I guess this means I'm here for the long haul. I don't usually do the long haul, it'll be different...

Suppose this means I'll need to get a job. Only had a job once before, for half a day. How do you get a job?

And that's the last of the post-school-year work I have to do. So now I'm officially in the summer state of not knowing what to do with myself until I have to make lesson plans for next year. Because there are not that many kids in town to keep busy preparing for all summer.

I haven't felt kicking yet, but I have hit the craving portion of things, because the absolute only things I want to eat or drink is root beer floats and guacamole. That's it. At the same time, sometimes.

How's everyone? I saw a few people have been sent home lately - everyone else holding up okay?

Anybody out there want to pick up some money babysitting? I need someone to watch my daughter Judith for a few hours sometime soon. ~~I'm not going to be the type of dad that leaves it to her older brother to watch her all the time when I go out~~

And before I forget - anybody know who I need to talk to about maybe moving into a three bedroom apartment? I've got Carl and Judith both with me and they need their own rooms and while I don't mind sleeping on the couch if I have to I don't want to if I can avoid it.

I've been here for almost a year now, but there are still things that I miss about my old life. Is that the right term? I'm not entirely sure. Either way, aside from before meeting The Doctor, this is the longest I've ever been in one place. I don't think I'll ever not miss traveling in the TARDIS with Amy and The Doctor. I miss my daughter. They took ~~everything~~ her from me at Demon's Run, and she was raised by strangers who only saw her as the means to ~~the Doctor's~~ an end. I never got to be the mum I wanted to be, and now I never will. It's not fair to anyone. Not to Melody, not to me, and definitely not to Rory. I hate it. I hate them. And I hate this bloody truth field.

Most of the time, I'm glad they stopped showing all the crap shows and things we're all in here. But it bugs me trying to figure out how that happened, and where the cut off is. There's still commercials for Game of Thrones so that's here, and Stiles subjected me to the new Flowers in the Attic, but most things can't be found even when you make good friends with google. (Which also exists. Who is making the rules? If they're taking things away, why didn't they un-invent Bing and do us a favor for once?)

Mostly though, it means there's a million things I know nothing about, so I feel like my whole life of useless knowledge is actually useless instead of good for arguing with people who are wrong on the internet. I'm going to start making dents in the new pop culture that showed up. I'm starting with the knockoff Storybrooke-approved version of Battlestar. Which is called Warcomet, believe it or not. ~~There is no Starbuck, who looks like Jane, either.~~ Anyone want to watch with me instead of doing anything constructive?

Lydia, your pony-dog really likes the couch. Am I supposed to be telling her she can't be up there? I'm not good with doggy discipline. She has the eyes, so I just give her what she wants.
