I need a job. Peeta's got one, but it's not fair of me to just expect him to support us both.

I have no actual job experience. I've never had one back home, unless you count being a victor and the Mockingjay. But those don't count here, and I'm glad they don't.

I don't think I'll ever be completed used to this place. It's so different from what I know back home. I still don't understand ~~or trust~~ how everyone is so nice. It's not all bad, though. There's a place to hunt and I've made some pretty good friends. And it's not like there's a whole lot left for me in 12.

Even a month later, it's still pretty amazing to have little Finn here. Never really thought about being a dad, ~~at least, not before Annie was here the last time,~~ but I'm not half bad at it so far, I don't think.

He's come and splashed around in the pool a bit, when I've been there. Few more months and I'll start proper lessons with him.

Well I have a job, and I have to admit that I'm really excited to work! I never had a job before, nor have I ever had ice cream until arriving here so I think this will be a good fit.

I'm still living with out a roommate, so I was thinking it would be a good opportunity to maybe get a dog or a cat for a pet. I'm leaning towards getting a cat because I'm told they're easier to handle and more independent.
