Has anyone seen Hermione?

I kind of need Hermione.

I've never been around this many muggles before in my life. And I'm not saying that's bad! Just that it's a little...weird. I know in the whole world there are a whole lot more muggles than wizards, but...my life's been more than a little mental and I hardly know muggles at all.

So...'cause I'm friendly sometimes and curious (look, Hermione!) I just wondered if you muggles out there could tell me what it's like to live without magic. I mean, some of the things you do are pretty brilliant, really.

Oh Merlin I'm becoming my dad

Seeing as I cannot find all the ingredients necessary for a pepperup potion...

Anyone have any remedy for a cold? I feel like death.

This does not look like Paris. Nor is this little box something I've ever used before.

Everyone's turning into little kids. So that's creepy. I hope that doesn't happen to me. I wasn't exactly well adjusted. Still not, but I've grown up. Some.

And has anyone tried out that Netflix Random Button? It's like a roulette game, only instead of a bullet you're likely to get a really lousy movie. I've gotten at least three different talking dog movies and I want to know why. I mean, they aren't even good ones! Heck, why are there five Home Alone movies? Who thought that was okay? Who?

Seriously though. Real question ahead. Is there a good place for someone like me to go blow things up around here? No, I'm not trying to be a jerk or a criminal or something, I just want a good place to train without scaring the masses when I work my mojo. Training sim, open field, I dunno. Anything like that. Plus I don't want to get arrested just because I'm working on stuff.

I thought I ought to introduce myself here, as I suppose we all having being relocated by a magical portal in common.

My name is Hermione Granger, and I've come from travelling across England, 1998. I've heard there are magic users in Storybrooke, though no one's quite managed to determine the kind of magic used to acquire it's citizens. I've been here just over a week now.

I look forward to meeting others here.

I've heard from both Ron and Fred that there are others here in Storybrooke from our world, though we're not all from the same time. If anyone's interested in impromptu lessons we might run ourselves or any opportunity to practice magic of our world with company, please let me know. I've several spellbooks and various other magic books of use, that I'm afraid are now on permanent loan from the Hogwart's Library.

I know what I've been told, but I'm not entirely convinced that this isn't some sort of last minute training for the new HitWizard.

So there's magic in this town? Fine, I know magic that part isn't exactly surprising for me.

Let's start with some of the basics then. I've been told I have family here? My name is Rose Weasley.

Right. So things worth noting right now.

1. I'm in the States. I'm the state of Maine, in a town called Storybrooke, to be precise.
   
2. I've been transported here by a magical portal of sorts. Apparently, the magic here is different from what I'm used to.
   
3. I shall need to find a job, since I'm going to be here for awhile, and am going to have to provide for myself.
   
4. Magic exists here, so there's no need in hiding that I'm a witch.

Right, then. Now that I've gotten those things out of the way, I may as well introduce myself. My name is Hermione Granger. I'm eighteen years of age, and I've just graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, which where I come from, is a school in the Untied Kingdom where young witches and wizards go to harness their abilities and become successful members of magical society afterward. I'm a Muggle-born, which means that neither of my parents have any magical blood in them whatsoever, so I am also well-versed in somethings that wizards that haven't grown up around Muggles or have never taken a Muggle studies class aren't, such as how to use a telephone, or operate a car.

I was top in my class at Hogwarts. I'm very good all manners of spells, translating ancient ruins, and brewing potions. I'm also very organized, have excellent typing skills, and good with numbers.

I have a few questions.

a) Has anyone seen Harry Potter? b) Has anyone seen any gingers that answer to Weasley besides me? c) Where can I find a replacement for the pie this fecking portal made me miss out on?
