Hello, everyone, I'm Hermione Granger.

Right. So things worth noting right now.

1. I'm in the States. I'm the state of Maine, in a town called Storybook, to be precise.
   
2. I've been transported here by a magical portal of sorts. Apparently, the magic here is different from what I'm used to.
   
3. I shall need to find a job, since I'm going to be here for awhile, and am going to have to provide for myself.
   
4. Magic exists here, so there's no need in hiding that I'm a witch.

Right, then. Now that I've gotten those things out of the way, I may as well introduce myself. My name is Hermione Granger. I'm eighteen years of age, and I've just graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, which where I come from, is a school in the Untied Kingdom where young witches and wizards go to harness their abilities and become successful members of magical society afterward. I'm a Muggle-born, which means that neither of my parents have any magical blood in them whatsoever, so I am also well-versed in somethings that wizards that haven't grown up around Muggles or have never taken a Muggle studies class aren't, such as how to use a telephone, or operate a car.

I was top in my class at Hogwarts. I'm very good all manners of spells, translating ancient ruins, and brewing potions. I'm also very organized, have excellent typing skills, and good with numbers.

Has anyone seen Uncle Percy Weasley?  We were supposed to have breakfast this morning, but he didn't show, and that doesn't seem like him.

I’m afraid I don’t know everyone else here well enough yet to send out personal invitations, but I suppose it’s best I ‘broadcast’ anyway, in hopes everyone who might be interested has the opportunity to come along.

My name is Hermione Granger and as I believe there are many magic users here in Storybrooke of varying skills not to mention worlds, I’m proposing the idea a study group of sorts, one based purely on magical education.

Nothing terribly formal, at least not at first. These regular meetings would provide not only an opportunity for some, like myself to learn, but for anyone who might be interested in refining their spellwork or magic techniques. As I expect there are varying levels of abilities amongst those of us here, I'm certain we'd have enough collective experience and knowledge to make a study group well worthwhile.

I was fortunate enough to arrive with my luggage for Hogwarts, so I’ve quite a few magical theory texts and several spellbooks allocated for my seventh year, as well as various supplementary texts we might refer to. Furthermore we'd have the fascinating opportunity to discuss and learn about other magical disciplines from other worlds.

You’re welcome to leave a note here if you’d like; if you'd prefer to contribute or learn, or perhaps both. Once we have a date and a place settled, I'll let everyone know via the network and you're just as welcome to simply turn up.

Perhaps we could see about booking a room at the Library if there's enough interest?

I've never been around this many muggles before in my life. And I'm not saying that's bad! Just that it's a little...weird. I know in the whole world there are a whole lot more muggles than wizards, but...my life's been more than a little mental and I hardly know muggles at all.

So...'cause I'm friendly sometimes and curious (look, Hermione!) I just wondered if you muggles out there could tell me what it's like to live without magic. I mean, some of the things you do are pretty brilliant, really.

If anyone's interested in impromptu lessons we might run ourselves or any opportunity to practice magic of our world with company, please let me know. I've several spellbooks and various other magic books of use, that I'm afraid are now on permanent loan from the Hogwart's Library.

I start classes at the community college on Monday. I'm looking forward to continuing my education. I'm also very thankful that Regina has allowed me time to take courses. I'm enjoying working at Town Hall. I'm learning new skills with my internship, and Regina is a very accommodating employer. I miss home, but I've settled in nicely at Storybrooke.

Well I say today has been going by very well! I may or may not have a lot of work to do in the upcoming days, but I suppose I'll find out soon enough!

In the meantime, I think I'll go out instead of cooking tonight. Lily Luna, is that all right? I can bring you back something if you don't feeling like cooking!

Hello! For those of you that do not know me, my name is Rose Weasley! I know the school year is quickly approaching, but I wanted to touch base with some of you. For those of you that have magic, I would greatly appreciate it if you would leave me a comment below and provide some background on your magical capability, and what education you have received before being brought here!

You know, I'm actually pretty used to things happening that most people would call strange. My life is a string of things most people would call strange. Still, nothing quite beats portals to Maine. I can honestly say that's never happened to me. At first, I was sure it was a Portkey. But I didn't feel at all like being ill, so But then someone from here explained, and it makes a bit more sense now.

I suppose I really ought to settle in.

That portkey, I must say, was very well executed.

That said , however, kidnappimg a sentient being is certainly against several ministry laws, as well as many muggle ones. This will not turn out well for you.

I've learned a lot in the small amount of time that I've been here. First of all, Storybrooke doesn't seem too bad. For such a small town there are a lot of residents here, assuming a good portion of them are like me? Meaning that they are not originally from this town.

I have to say this device is quite handy. So I'm going to use this opportunity to find more family. So if you're a Weasley or a Potter or connected in anyway, let me know! I have a very large family and since timelines don't seem to matter here, who knows how many of you are out there.
