I do not understand how magic can make you want to tell the truth to a device. It's not even a real person. It's maddening. I hate magic.

I don't actually hate Anders all of the time, anymore.

I am getting accustomed to not wearing armor, and then hate how vulnerable we are in this town that never expects demons or darkspawn or blood mages. I like it, and hate liking things. They are too likely to vanish.

I hate that the Ferelden King is here, because he was a friend and fellow hero to Neria, and I cannot compete with a human King. Even if he has strangely shaped eyes. And looks just like another from this town.

I just want her to like me more. I do not see why she would. I have done terrible things, and she is good.

The television still startles me sometimes.

I hate magic.

I don't think I've ever seen this much snow for this long. The Frostback mountains were in a constant state of cold, but it was hardly a place I remained in for long. And most of Ferelden was far more prone to rain. Still, it is rather lovely, even if I am not overly fond of the cold.

How long until things become warm again? There is so much to adjust to here.

Well, this is strange and new and not at all disconcerting.

To whoever owns the metal vehicle of strange shape that is colored like a slightly rotted tomato, I apologize for the dog. There is a lot of new territory and he has strong opinions on how much marking is needed to make it his own.

A young woman named Jessica has just fallen out of the sky, and seems confused about it. I blame the absurdly tall buildings nearby. Neither of us are quite sure what to do about the plummet, though she seems unconcerned about the buildings.

The woman who greeted me - not the one who fell on my head, the one who showed me this device - said there were others I knew here? So ... hello?

Still a better welcome than Kirkwall.

I would like to set up a clinic, if that acceptable, for those who are uncomfortable with traditional methods of healing. I am a mage, and a healer, and I see no reason not to use my gifts to aid people. I know that I find myself ill at ease with the way doctors in this time and place work, and I am sure that there are others who do as well. If nothing else, I am more than happy to heal people from my flat, if they wish.

Anders, I would be ever so grateful if you would assist me in this.

I must say this contraption is quite fascinating. I have never seen anything like it. I am really very grateful that the woman who helped me acquaint myself with this world showed me how to use it, else I surely would have been at a loss.
