First of all I really want to thank Lt. Colonel Sheppard and the rest of you for letting me stay. The last time I was in a group home it was more like a prison camp, so this is pretty awesome.

I thought maybe you guys could tell me about any rules or expectations you have? Because I really don't want to piss you guys off by accident.
For example, how do you feel about smoking in the house?
Are there any chores I should do? Any work around the house or yard I can help out with? Apparently no one will give me a job until I've been here 2 weeks so I'm kinda bored right now. Feel free to put me to work.
Once I get a job, should I pay rent, or kick in some money for expenses?

I would like to do something perhaps a bit controversial and give thanks to the dome in general. Being brought here over a year ago saved my life, and allowed me to know joy that I never could have enjoyed back home.

I know that many of us are not happy to be here, but for some of us, it truly was a life-saving experience.

Apparently my birthday falls on a day designated to honor people who've fought in wars.

But war affects more than just people who've fought in it. So I shall honor my parents, who only wanted to get by while the world was being torn apart around them and was vilified for it anyways.

There's some news Kristof and I have been sitting on for a little while now, and we're ready to share it with everyone.

Sometime in May, there will be another tiny addition to the Madison Valley population. We'll be expecting a baby girl most likely if she's the same person we met last year.

We're very happy.
