Okay, I get most of this. Portals to other worlds. We're stuck in a small town in Maine with no mall. We can't leave. There's a girl who looks like my best friend but isn't a shapeshifting alien.

I just have one question.

Who broke magic?

I mean...seriously. What did you do?

In my case, you have the Leanansidhe training you in magic, and then you happen to be nearby when the Winter Lady gets killed...and then you go off for an internship with Queen Mab. Before that, I would've called myself a wizard - we use witch to mean a person who follows one of the pagan religions, "practitioner" to refer generically to people who use magic, and wizard to mean a practitioner with a certain level of talent and training. Same for you, or different?

	It's not broken so much as in a state of flux. There was no magic, now there's magic and you. Tomorrow there might be just you. Tomorrow tomorrow, who knows. But blame the Mayor and Gold, if you're looking for fingers to point. Portals out don't work, trust me. (Reply to this) (Thread)
