Ever since my wife was sent back, about a month ago, the apartment has been extremely quiet and I was thinking about getting a dog or something. Maggie had a dog before I was brought here, but when Beth was sent back, well, I don't really know what happened to it. I know that that sounds really bad, but a lot was going on then. So, I was thinking of getting a pet of my own now. Is the shelter the only place here to get a pet?

That portal was fascinating - I wish I'd gotten a better look at it, but I don't suppose there's a way to replicate it if we're really stuck here? Do people come through at the same place every time, or is it random? Is there any observation set up to measure this?

I'm just about 9000% done with papers and school and everything.

You know, I've been contemplating my sheer lack of purpose here, and I think it might be time for a career change. Not that I've ever really had a 'career' before, but that's a better phrase than 'time to find a job and stop duping people for money'.

Anyone have any suggestions for a highly literate, easily bored werewolf?

So, anyone here want to help me with my fencing? I'm badly out of practice, and I'm thinking knowing more than one weapon might come in handy.

SHIELD was always shady as fuck for us, but this is just new levels of insane. Our reality is clearly the superior one. Our enemies keep themselves separate and color-coded. Green for Hydra. Yellow for AIM.

If there's anyone I've missed teaching to cook, if you need to learn I'll teach for a monetary fee. I don't know how much though. It's basically my own vaguely reasonable employable skill. I don't do fancy cooking, but I don't set things on fire more than they ought to be.

So this is.... nice? I assume, having never actually been to America before. Seen it on tv, obviously, but that all tends to be cities, which this clearly is not. (Not that I think tv is in any way accurate. I think half of those cities are actually Canadian, for starters, and also no one ever says goodbye before hanging up the phone, which is a bit rude.) Very quaint though, 7/10. Good small town vibe without being overly urban legend creepy.

I find it amazing how much I've actually started to miss my family. It's been so long since I had any tangible sense of it, but just...being able to be myself makes me wonder what it would be like to have them here.

And you assholes didn't even notice I was gone, did you?
