Who: Grantaire and Erin When: Evening Where: Lou's What: Drinks Warnings: Probably not, will update if needs be Summary: Closed/In-Progress
The problem with being a few glasses worse for the wine was that Grantaire tended to be a bit freer with the things he said (though he knew some who would say he always was). Looking back, it was both entertaining and...considering what had been said between he and Enjolras, somewhat nerve wracking. He knew he should probably regret it, and a part of him did. But it was also a comfort to him, seeing Enjolras so plainly state that they were friends. That alone was more than he ever dared hope for.
An invitation out for drinks was a welcome distraction from such potentially miserable thoughts, though. He was more than happy to meet someone new he could share such an occasion with. He missed his friends terribly, not least of all as they had made such fine drinking companions when he was in need of distraction and laughter.
Lou's was familiar enough to him now, and he took up a place at a table he had frequented enough times now. He set down the two beers he had ordered on seeing Erin was not there yet, flipping open his sketch book to occupy his hands until she arrived.
It wasn't long before the image forming on the page beneath his hand became a familiar one. A strong jaw, curling hair and a penetrating gaze. Even without planning it, Enjolras was never far from his thoughts.
