I thought it would be weird to have these other children about, the ones who claim Mary as their mother and someone else as their father, but I find I really don't mind. I'm quite secure in my relationship with my wife, I've no doubt she'll have no reason to cheat on me with these other men. The children are simply a glimpse of what could be, were I to leave this place while she stayed behind. It comforts me to think she would find happiness again, were I not able to be here for her in future.

While it seems that everyone is on the subject of gatherings:

I've recently come to learn about something called a murder mystery party. It seems to be something of a staged murder scene that participants are then challenged to solve, to bring the fictional murderer to justice, as it were. It seems to be a good bit of fun, and an excellent use of skills for both trained detectives, training detectives, and clever civilians.

I'd thought, perhaps, to organize one such dinner event.

I don't suppose there would be any interest?

I must apologize for being scarce lately, friends, but I have found myself rather busy at my place of employment - And what an absolute joy it has been to be in the company of horses once more! Never have I met a creature more noble or beautiful, and I had nearly forgotten how thrilling it is to gain the trust of such a powerful animal.

In my time, we would send Saint Valentine's Day post cards to friends and family and lovers alike. I remember that my husband was able to send me one from the front lines in France. It made me so happy to receive it, even if we were not more than friends at the time. It is a shame that the post is not utilized more in these times. We had the most beautifully drawn Valentine's post cards. Some of them were very sweet. Others were quite risque.

Thanksgiving is such an interesting muggle concept. Or perhaps I should say American muggle tradition. I don't think it is wrong to celebrate things you may be thankful for, but it appears to be more of a day to over indulge on food more than anything else.

It is merely an observation, of course.

As the weather turns colder again, I would like to remind everyone about the Madison Valley Tea House. While I would love to have customers come in and have the full high tea experience, I realize that we all lead busy lives. Therefore, we also have a to-go counter where we serve our tea, pastries and sandwiches.

We have a few specials for autumn, including a pumpkin spice tea and a pumpkin spice muffin. I've been told that flavor is quite popular. I've tried both of them and they are both delicious and come highly recommended from our regular customers.

I do hope that you'll stop in to see us, and if there's anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to ask.

After my husband died, I truly thought I would never love again. Nobody understood me like he did. I can be contrary sometimes and not easy to love. Because he was gone, I was sure that I would spend the rest of my life alone. Every man who courted me paled in comparison to Matthew.

Then I came here and met Ichabod and everything changed. I love him so deeply and I'm so honoured to be his wife. Sometimes I worry that I come on too strong for him though. I don't doubt that he loves me, but I feel like he grows frustrated with me when I am so insistent and so intense in my love. I love him fiercely and with my whole heart and I worry that it frightens him at times.

Despite the fact that there are many handsome men in Madison, none could take me from Ichabod. He is my very soul.

I have no idea why I've chosen to share this with the network at large.
