Who: Party Post (George Crawley's 4th birthday) What: A child's birthday pool party, open invite to all Where: Ella and Kit's house When: Saturday afternoon Warnings: Probably none
George was so excited for his party that he was practically bouncing off of the walls. Mary had worked for much of the morning decorating Ella's house, which she had so gracious opened up so that George could have a pool party for his birthday. There was bunting, streamers and balloons, all in various shades of green decorating the living room. From there, the sliding glass doors led out to the pool. Mary had bought various floaties and toys for the kids to play with.
Food was pizza and snacks, such as chips. It was odd party food to Mary, but it seemed to be the norm for children's parties in this time and place and it was what George had wanted. Ella had made a beautiful cake for him as well that Mary was sure would be absolutely delicious. Everything looked lovely and she was pleased with her work.
While George played in the pool with the children, Mary mingled and made her rounds with the adults, thanking them for coming.
