My holiday was actually pretty uneventful. Of course, that's mostly because I worked so a couple of my coworkers could spend time with loved ones.

Best part? Christmas-related injuries were at a minimum.

I used to hate this time of year because it reminded me of how much I never had. My perspective is completely different now, as an adult. I might not have had a stable home when I was a kid, but I had my brother. Now I have both my brothers, and my mom in my life. A wonderful woman whom I love dearly, and more friends than I can shake a stick at. I'm grateful for every one of you.

I think I'm actually tired of food. Like, I don't think I could eat another cookie if I tried. And please don't hand me any more peppermint.

The stories my brother told me that he learned from the earth books on the Ark really doesn't do the holidays justice.

I do not understand why some woman I do not even know would think it her place to tell me to shave my head. What concern is it to her?

There is nothing quite like the holiday season in Madison. I am quite glad that my return to the city came in time for the holidays. I am not so thrilled to be here for winter right away.

I actually managed successful Christmas shopping this year! Of course, I didn't manage it by myself, but even so.
