I realize that since I came back, I've been a bit off my game. Trying to save face is getting exhausting, and while I was adamant about not sharing things with the friends I have back in L.A., it probably won't fly here.

In fact, I know it won't. It's what happens when your friends with people who tend to have the same thought process as you do.

I've told some of you bits and pieces about what happened back home after I left. Different parts to different people. Yadda yadda.

Gotta thank Marina for taking care of the gash on my forehead. The lack of headaches makes everything else feel a little better.

So this is...week two? End of week one?

I need to make one of those paper chains. Or a calendar countdown. Or one of those Advent calendars where I give myself a treat every day for being a good patient.

Is there a place around that might be suitable for some target shooting? A friend and I were wondering. The weapon...it might be a little more powerful than the firearms that seem to be typical of personal weapons here, but as long as we're in the right area, no harm should come of it. We just want to test it out safely.

This is an unexpected detour. Not to mention a total inconvenience. My name is Tim Drake-Wayne and I was on my way to Gotham before I landed here, if that means anything to anyone.

Who would have thought the other side would consist of such a quaint town.

This wouldn't be the first time I ended up in an alternate universe. Small town Indiana is kind of disappointing in comparison.

Oh, this is bad. This is very bad.

This place isn't! Not at all. It's actually really nice here from what I've seen in the few minutes I've been here.

This is bad in general. They haven't gone over dimension hopping yet in class.

Okay. Deep breath. They were very nice in explaining the situation, so maybe it's not really that bad. Things could be worse. They could absolutely be worse.

Indiana is lovely, and has plenty of rum, but I do miss the sea.
