Have to say, never thought I'd be brought to the future by portals, but this looks fun!

How would everyone feel about a huge picnic next weekend? There are still loads of you I have never met and I'm sure that's true for several others here. We could all take some time to get to know each other or catch up with people we haven't seen in a while, yeah? It could be fun!

Saturday in the park at say noon? Everyone can bring a dish to share!

Now, Snow White and Captain Hook? Classic Disney films. Suppose if they're actually real though, I can't exactly replenish Dora's and my collection.

I'm Marlene McKinnon, and forgive me for being frightfully rude, but I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself to everyone because I've been so busy trying to learn how to use this muggle technology, attempting to become familiar with the town, and looking for a decent cup of tea. Unfortunately, I've only somewhat succeeded in one of those things. This town is rather lovely, and I'm aware that I could be trapped in a place far worse than this, but you Americans do not know how to make tea, and having to use the angriest owl in the Owlery would be preferable to this PTA contraption.

I can't rightly say I've ever expected to be pulled through a portal and told to live in another town before. It's going to take some getting used to and I'm going to miss my Mum and Da something fierce, but it's not so bad here, right? At least there isn't a war going on, but it's a bloody shame I'm not there anymore to fight in the one back home anymore.
