~~This place is complete rubbish at times~~ For those of you who expressed an interest in the new fizzy drink that Fred's been working on developing for the shop, he's still working on it. There was just a small setback a couple of weeks ago, nothing dangerous to anyone but it's still caused a bit of a delay. And if anyone knows where we could get a fire extinguisher to keep in the back room of the shop that would be brilliant. Just to be on the safe side ~~in case Fred or I aren't around and something catches on fire~~

Tiny child shaped people are usually rubbish at talking or being anything other than small people. But they are really dedicated to fetch when they're throwing a stick, I'll give them that. They hit you in the head a few times, but they keep right on going. Which is brilliant for a dog.

There's a million women with all the same face. Usually it's just one or two. Good for them it's not a hag face.

Someone hire me so I can buy things. My main skill is looking good and eating.

Hello,

I’m afraid I don’t know everyone else here well enough yet to send out personal invitations, but I suppose it’s best I ‘broadcast’ anyway, in hopes everyone who might be interested has the opportunity to come along.

My name is Hermione Granger and as I believe there are many magic users here in Storybrooke of varying skills not to mention worlds, I’m proposing the idea a study group of sorts, one based purely on magical education.

Nothing terribly formal, at least not at first. These regular meetings would provide not only an opportunity for some, like myself to learn, but for anyone who might be interested in refining their spellwork or magic techniques. As I expect there are varying levels of abilities amongst those of us here, I'm certain we'd have enough collective experience and knowledge to make a study group well worthwhile.

I was fortunate enough to arrive with my luggage for Hogwarts, so I’ve quite a few magical theory texts and several spellbooks allocated for my seventh year, as well as various supplementary texts we might refer to. Furthermore we'd have the fascinating opportunity to discuss and learn about other magical disciplines from other worlds.

You’re welcome to leave a note here if you’d like; if you'd prefer to contribute or learn, or perhaps both. Once we have a date and a place settled, I'll let everyone know via the network and you're just as welcome to simply turn up.

Perhaps we could see about booking a room at the Library if there's enough interest?

So from what was explained, I'm basically seeing this as a resort town for superheroes. It could stand to be a bit warmer, but I'm from California so I'm pretty much always going to think that, let's be honest. Anyway, I for one don't care if it's magic, aliens, science, the Ellimist, Crayak or whatever, I think I'm about due for a time out from saving the world.

Hi. I'm Cassie, and I'm an alcoholic. (Sorry, that's a bit of a Marco joke.) Actually I'm an Animorph. After having to hide it at all costs for three years it feels pretty good to just be able to announce it like that. I can now back home too, except I don't really need to. Everyone knows who we are now.

Anyway, I'm 16 so I still have another year of school, but if it's May now there's not really much point starting here, is there? Not unless I'm still here in September.

On first impression this place seems completely insane and I'm fairly sure I don't have to describe all the reasons why. But I've just read backwards about two weeks on the network, and if I sort of look past everything else, it's actually very, very normal. It's a bit comforting, really, like the biggest changes to get used to will be not living in a city and having to meet new people instead of... well. (I'm about 95% certain I will change my mind as soon as I'm actually confronted, in person, with my eyes, by magic or superheroes or something, instead of just reading about them. Also I'm trying to mentally revise my categorisation of various books and things to "documentary" and I think it's a bit of a work in progress.)

At least I might almost have a job, fingers crossed, will find out soon. Incidentally a lot of people are talking about getting pets for a place where you can randomly disappear without warning. Which is probably another thing to try to get my head around. Seems like I can either plan for the long term just in case or just... exist, and I'm not sure how to weigh up the pros and cons for either.

I never thought I'd be so glad to see us run out of a product at Fred's shop. We sold the last of the Easter jelly beans tonight so anyone who wants to change their hair pastel colors needs to resort to whatever methods they were using before Fred started selling the jelly beans last month.

I already reminded Fred of what I said after the jelly beans turned my hair green - I'm not testing anything he invents anymore. I don't care if my hair went back to normal on its own before bed. My name is Hermione Granger, and I've come from ~~travelling across~~ England, 1998. I've heard there are magic users in Storybrooke, though no one's quite managed to determine the kind of magic used to acquire it's citizens. I've been here just over a week now.
