I thought I ought to introduce myself here, as I suppose we all having being relocated by a magical portal in common.

My name is Hermione Granger, and I've come from travelling across England, 1998. I've heard there are magic users in Storybrooke, though no one's quite managed to determine the kind of magic used to acquire it's citizens. I've been here just over a week now.

I look forward to meeting others here.

I've heard from both Ron and Fred that there are others here in Storybrooke from our world, though we're not all from the same time. If anyone's interested in impromptu lessons we might run ourselves or any opportunity to practice magic of our world with company, please let me know. I've several spellbooks and various other magic books of use, that I'm afraid are now on permanent loan from the Hogwart's Library.

Not that I suppose I really should complain, all things considered. I just don't think I've ever heard of an afterlife quite like this. Suppose I should be glad there aren't little red things with pitchforks.

I'm surprisingly still soaked to the bone and I haven't quite found the flat I'm supposed to be staying at. I wonder if you can still do magic when you're dead, but my wand didn't follow me here. I suppose it wouldn't through, would it?

I am happy that I was able to work out a school schedule. Even though it still doesn't feel like I've been here for a while, and I am still getting used to this place but at least I can have an education now. I'm not entirely sure if I'll be turning 18 in May or not. I've already had my seventeenth birthday back home.

With my classes I believe I am labeled as a Senior, but I was told I have some Sophmore/Junior level courses. I was surprised how similar some classes were but there are still some courses that I am miserably behind on. There's so much history here that we do not know about. I wonder if the documents and such just get lost over time.

I cannot find my totem anywhere and I was told that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. This is not a dream but merely the result of portals at work.

I have to admit that whoever has brought me into this dream certainly has a wild imagination. I must also make my intent to kill whoever is responsible should anything happen to my friend. Fair enough, loves?

It’s almost too quiet for me to study I never really thought about how often I listened to the radio while doing my homework until now. And if I hear one more of those television ministers talking about magic being a tool of the devil I’m going to throw something through the screen

I think I’ve changed my mind about wanting to read those books so please don’t worry about looking for them on my behalf.

The nice part about living alone is that I don't inconvenience anyone by camping out in the living room while all of my furniture is shrunk. I didn't want to drip paint on it accidentally. Paint-drying charms are effective, but it's easier to paint an entire section before you use it.

Base coat for the ceiling is coming along nicely. It's quite brighter than I thought it would be, but once I do the rest of the painting I think it will be fine. Haven't started on the walls yet.

For those of you who don't know, I'm Belle and I'm the librarian here in Storybrooke. I just wanted to let you know that there will be an open house at the library next weekend. We'll be doing a book fair, where you can take some of the extra books from the library's storage, or donate new books to bring some variety. We'll also be doing a bake sale. It should be really nice. I hope so anyway Hopefully you'll all stop by.

Hello again! Well I'm happy that I'll be leaving near my friends, but it's sad that I'm living alone for now. This town seems so nice and I don't think I've ever had this much freedom before. I know I was here before but I don't remember.

I also wanted to know about school? Back at home I was still in school and I wouldn't want to stop my education. The problem is that I don't know how much school has changed, since I come from a very different home. Is there anyone I can talk to?

The Storybrooke Youth Center will be hosting the Halloween dance for students this Thursday night. There will be costumes and music and it should be really fun. High school and college students are all welcome, and we really hope that people will attend.

I haven't tried any new spells lately, and I don't think I've met any new magical beings or creatures in person. I don't think a púca can change others, just themselves. May I borrow boy clothes from someone? I don't fit in most of my normal clothes. Just my sleepwear and a jacket.

It looks like I was worried about the wrong thing. I should have been worried more about passing Trigonometry thank Merlin I had the textbook right next to me than learning how to help James take care of our son. He keeps saying I'm a natural and he must be right. Taking care of Harry is easy compared to this homework

Does anyone know anything about Trigonometry? I thought going to primary school before Hogwarts would make school here easier. I should be more used to muggle classes than this And might be willing to help me get a better grasp on it?

Hey, everyone.

My name is Kitty Pryde. Back in my own reality, I was the Headmistress of the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. Here in Storybrooke, I've been working with Mayor Mills to set up a communal space for all the youth, both local and displaced.

Basically, the point is that the Storybrooke Youth Center will be opening soon, to give the kids and teenagers in Storybrooke a place to hang out and have fun in a safe environment. There will be areas for athletic activity, as well as places to socialize, and even to study once school rolls around. What we're hoping is that we can create a space where the young people in town can interact in a safe environment that promotes positive attitudes.

The point of this post is that the center will need staff. I will be running things, along with my colleague, Logan Howlett, but we definitely need more people in order to get this operation up and running. If you're interested, please contact me here, or you can email your information to me at pryde.katherine@storybrooke.gov. We really appreciate any support that we can get.

Also, classes will be staring at the Elementary, Junior High and High Schools, as well as the Community College, on September 3, the Tuesday following labor day. All children and teens under the age of eighteen are required to register for school. Please use the following form to provide your information, or that of your child, and we'll get them into the system so that they're registered for classes.

Are there any casual kind of teams around here? Lacrosse, or soccer (football, for Brits) or anything? Maybe with non-superpowered people? Or separate teams for superhumans and then the rest of us can cheerlead for you and play on our own as a warm up or something?

The library's got a lot of stock for a little place. If anyone's got books from home they don't mind letting us borrow, but don't want to leave, I managed to unearth a scanner, so I can scan in things for digital copies. Not great ones, but better than nothing for stuff that might not exist on the internet in this reality.

Hello,

I don't know if I've spoken to all of you but I know even if I have I don't actually know any of you personally and I'd like to change that if possible.

So hi, I'm Minerva McGonagall. I'm 15 years old, current student at Hogwarts and hail from 1940.

I just wanted to take a minute to extend a warm welcome to all of our new neighbours here! I know Storybrooke is a small town, and very different to what a lot of you are used to, but I hope you'll enjoy your stay with us.

My name is Belle, and I'm opening the library under the clock tower once it's up to scratch. It's still a little dusty in there, and I have a lot of books to index before the place is fit for the public. I want to set up a few fun events for the library for bookish types, like a book club, or meetings for fans of particular series, that sort of thing. I'm going to be looking for some staff to help me run the place too, so if you're interested, drop me a line!

Additionally, if anyone brought books with them that they would like to share with other people, I'd be happy to set up a system for that!
