My name is Mulan and I have just arrived here. I've heard a lot about Storybrooke so it's nice to finally see it in person. At least I think it is. I'm not too sure about that right now.

Tomorrow will be what you all refer to as a Friday, which means you'll be let out of work in preparation for a relaxing weekend.

Conveniently enough, tomorrow night is also the grand opening of the new tavern, The Hanged Man. Call it destiny, convenience, or excellent planning, it doesn't matter. Come and join us for a night of debauchery frivolity and good company!

Also, you shall all have the utmost pleasure of hearing the bard, Leliana, entertain. It's certainly not something to be missed.

Now, Snow White and Captain Hook? Classic Disney films. Suppose if they're actually real though, I can't exactly replenish Dora's and my collection.

Is there a Captain Hook here? I've been told he has a ship. If not him, are there any possible jobs open on a ship? I doubt my etiquette and proper lady skills will get me anywhere.

I appear to have run out of clothing. Not that I had much to begin with.

Otherwise I'll just walk around naked. While I don't find that an issue, I know some more prudish people in this place do and I find dealing with the city guard tiresome. So to avoid a scene, would anyone be kind enough to spare me some clothing until I can clean what I do have?

More and more people are arriving here; it's a wonder if a small town like this can keep up.

The lovely Isabela and I have decided to throw in together, and we shall be opening a proper tavern down on the docks. So don't be alarm at the remodeling going on at one of the buildings down there. We're just doing our part to better the town as a whole.

Isn't this town starting to burst at its seams? The problem with too many bodies in too little space is that they all use up things. You start to run out of food or whiskey and what choice do you have but to use magic to bring in more? And then the magic goes wrong. Maybe it even brings in more people. And then all the things are gone, and just the people left.

This is how universes end, I think.

Isn't it a good thing we have the Mayor to guide us all through this? I'm sure you'll all want to fall into line behind someone your own stories call The Evil Queen.

I'm planting a vegetable garden. I doubt it will help in time.

Some of them seem to have guns. If they're running around our town and in the woods my house is up against, where my daughter lives, I'd rather you be the only woman with a gun. I can keep my own.

I just wanted to take a minute to extend a warm welcome to all of our new neighbours here! I know Storybrooke is a small town, and very different to what a lot of you are used to, but I hope you'll enjoy your stay with us.

My name is Belle, and I'm opening the library under the clock tower once it's up to scratch. It's still a little dusty in there, and I have a lot of books to index before the place is fit for the public. I want to set up a few fun events for the library for bookish types, like a book club, or meetings for fans of particular series, that sort of thing. I'm going to be looking for some staff to help me run the place too, so if you're interested, drop me a line!

Additionally, if anyone brought books with them that they would like to share with other people, I'd be happy to set up a system for that!

I'm of a mind to learn the local card games. And to try to teach at least one someone Diamondback, so I have someone to win againstplay with.

I guess you can teach an old pirate new tricks. This world and its technology really isn't that hard to figure out if one puts their mind to it, though I'd rather prefer not to develop a taste for it.
