As some of you might know, Ramadan was this month. That means it is almost time for Eid al-Fitr, the breaking of the fast. Like last year, I'm going to be hosting an Eid celebration Monday. All are invited.

It's pretty nice this year with a lot of my family around. A lot of us don't have the time or a reason to talk every day, but it's still nice just knowing a lot of you are here. It's a big change from my childhood and the shady motel rooms, dad still on business, empty beer can wreaths, and the gifts Dean 'acquired' from the nice houses down the street. Not that those don't have a special place in my heart.
