I was gonna wait a bit, but since you kids are so anxious -- me and some of the folks have built some cabins along the river for your camping trips.

They're not super fancy, but we thought it'd be nicer for hanging out even if the weather's not being the best.

If you trash them, they're your responsibility to clean up and fix unless it's anything major. Then maybe we'll help.

I kind of wish my wife were here, although she doesn't really go for any of this sappy stuff.

But at least I'm enjoying the easy chocolate availability.

And it seems the stores are also getting ready for "easter" which apparently also involves chocolate.

Why do so many Earth holidays involve candy? Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I've been curious for a while about the differences between abilities that those here have and my own. I've gathered there are others who have telepathic or empathic abilities, but I've never been sure how such things would affect someone like me, whose abilities aren't exactly the same as the others...it's just something that intrigues me. And perhaps some useful information could come of it...I can't say.

Are there any therapists here that specialize in post war PTSD? Nightmares, among other things, have been plagued me since I arrived and I've thought about posing this before but the war wasn't a normal one; there were aliens involved so I wasn't sure anyone would understand or be able to help me.

This planet sure likes its pumpkin this time of year.

I think I like the pumpkin cream pie I tried, and the pumpkin drink from McDonald's myself.

Oh and there's no pumpkin in them, but the pumpkin shaped candies are fun. The chocolate and peanut butter ones and the ones that look like...what's it called...candy corn?

I went to a costume shop yesterday. There sure are a lot of costumes based on my world.

I don't get why people want to dress up as Darth Vader, though.

And how could people make costumes based off my sister when she was Jabba's prisoner? They should realize what she went through in that costume. The other one isn't so bad, with the hair buns and white dress, although I'm not sure how she'd react.

It was tempting to dress up as my brother-in-law, but if word ever got to him about it, he'd never quit teasing me. Neither would my wife, probably.

People sure do put a lot of work into the costumes they wear for Halloween. It's very interesting.
