I would have to say that I am not normally one of those people to get excited by the change of seasons or an upcoming holiday, but this year - this year is quite different than any prior. For once, there seems to be a great deal to celebrate and reasons to buy presents and keep secrets from loved ones. Maybe it helps to have realised how much I have by being here. Maybe it helps to have spent time working with the kids at the center. I am not sure I could rightly pin it down to a single reason - it is a multitude of things coming together.
Now, if only it would snow for Christmas, I do think life might be perfect.
Private to Jem and TessaSo, how are we going to celebrate the holidays this year? I cannot tell you how excited I am to have this experience this year. I don't think there are adequate words for my contentment at being with both of you.
