It's nice to have movement back in my shoulder. A silver knife embedded deep was not fun. ~~nor was having it ripped out~~. Silver hurts so much, and the other wounds were not nearly as awful feeling as that. Thankfully, Scarlett was around to help prevent it from putting me down for much longer, and giving me time to rinse out and scrape out every ounce of silver from my muscles and skin, so thank you, Scarlett for helping. It was a lifesaver.

A couple new scars, and a healthy dose of not wanting to leave Scott's room until I'm a: feeling better and b: he's come back. ~~he has to come back, he can't not.~~. I... I am incredibly thankful I have a boss who gets the weird shit.

I hope that my abilities aren't a trouble to anyone around me right now, the calm peace thing is a little wavering so ... it's inconsistent. I'm sorry.

I was always a theatre kid. I'm not built for it, but it was a passion in high school. Blake and I were always pretty much inseparable on stage. But I wanted him to succeed way more than I wanted to do so for myself.

I remember finding ways into Broadway shows all through school and after. Last night? Last night really, really reminded me why I fell in love with the whole theatre world. You can take a classic like Jesus Christ Superstar and make it something fresh while keeping it on point. The theatre is so adaptable for the ages.

It was a hit when it opened and they really kicked it up a notch last night.

And maybe, I can't stop singing songs from it today.

The Riverrun Theatre Co is doing a production of West Side Story this summer. Yours truly will be playing Tony. It's not Broadway, but considering we're under a dome and can't get to Broadway from here...I'll take it. West Side Story is one of the first productions I ever saw, and one of my all time favorites. To play Tony is a dream come true.
