So, there is absolutely no explanation as to how I ended up back on C-53 in the future no less. Fury didn't call me though. I'm sure of it. Welcoming party gave me the spiel and a thousand dollars which probably won't do much because of inflation.

I don't suppose there is anyone named Fury around here? Or Maria Rambeau?

With summer here, it really feels like photography season as started too.

We should plan a trip to take some shots together this summer.

The house is so quiet.

Still. You'd think by now I'd have gotten used to it. But it's too strange and I can't get over it. I have no people to watch over. I have no kingdom to keep safe. No battles to fight. What am I supposed to do with my day?. I spend far too much time at work instead and I am not sure how to adjust again.

I do not need nearly this much time to be alone with my thoughts.

The Settlement will host a Summer Solstice bonfire and feast on the 20th.

For those who are new, and don't know of us, we more or less are a settlement of people of Norse descent, and their wards, who are much happier living off the land than modern stuff - though we aren't totally off-grid. After all, I love hot showers and so do most of my residents.

We welcome visitors, of course, and those who wish to get away from the busy life for a few hours, or more permanently - though if you want to live with us you have to pull your own weight.

Summer is almost here. So close I can taste it. I can feel it creeping up on us.

But I also grow bored of working. Keeping two places up and running is hard work. I need a long, hot bath, a good beer and I'm suddenly craving a good curry.
