Katie has decided that strawberries are her favorite food. She wants them on everything. Last night I had to put a sliced strawberry on her buttered spaghetti noodles to get her to eat them.

Those were some thunderstorms last night, huh?

Thunderstorms still freak the shit out of me. Growing up in Connecticut we didn't have these big midwestern death storm things...that and I'm sure that Zeus is still trying to hunt me down and kill me for corrupting his daughter. Love you too, gramps.

So, I think I'm going to like living here.

I do not understand the meaning or purpose of Easter. I thought about taking Aurie to see the bunny and have her picture made with it, but...that thing creeped me out. The whole Easter Bunny that bring candy in baskets is a bit strange.

So I'm going to have a small birthday celebration for Aurie on Saturday the 29th, at the house. There will be pizza and cake, presents are not necessary.

I totally need to find somebody to homeschool me (and Riley) next year. Seriously. I don't think I'm going to make it to the end of the year.

I'd forgotten how lovely this time of year is, with the birds singing and the flowers coming into bloom.

I'm not generally a sap, but...it's nice to see the signs of spring all around, isn't it?

I am so bored.
