I wouldn't consider myself to be pagan, certainly, but I was thinking it might be nice to have some sort of get-together on the equinox anyway.

Spring has always been one of my favorite times of the year and I see no reason not to celebrate it with food and friends.

I think one of the most terrible things this place does is when it messes with our emotions.

Messing with our bodies is one thing. Making us feel things we don't feel is quite another. I'm very, very glad I wasn't affected by this last wave of strangeness. The awkwardness afterwards would be too much to bear.

I'm not used to failing.

Maybe that sounds cocky or something, but it's true. I'm not.

English is really, really hard, though. I mean, I sit down every night and try to read my assignment, but ten minutes into it and the words are swimming around the page.
