I have found a job working as the systems admin for a small law firm's network. Thankfully, it won't require me to interact with too many people. I'm afraid I'm not terribly good at that.

I think I'd like to make Katie's Halloween costume this year. She's still very small, and I don't like the options they have for costumes at Walmart. Does anyone know of anything that would be fairly easy to sew, but still cute?

I went out of my apartment this morning to discover that the darling elderly lady that lives on my floor had decorated the hall for Halloween. Including my door. It now boasts two pumpkins, a bundle of flint corn, autumn colored leaves garland around the frame and a paper skeleton taped to the door. (Over the peephole, but I'll not complain.) The surprise served me better than a cup of tea.

No! I refuse! Listen to me, you old bat! Bad enough you make me act all Roma and tell people I'm "gypsy" but I draw the line at blowing the act over the top just because Halloween is coming up. You can eat a Halloweenie for all I care!

I can't wait to get back to the garage. I mean, I love spending way too much time with books and with Clay, but I've never gone this long without a wrench in my hand. To be fair, they're trying to make me stay in the front office.
