I'm sure all of you have noticed the influx of animals onto the town streets. It seems they were released from the animal shelter by persons unknown. Unfortunately, it also seems that the town sheriff and her deputy are averse to actually doing their jobs, as they have yet to round up the animals still free. Anyone who spots a stray animal or has information regarding the culprit, feel free to call the sheriff department anytime.

Those of you who have picked up animals off the street, congratulations on the new members of your family. The state of Maine requires that all dogs be licensed, and the town code additionally requires cats to be licensed pets as well.

You can find the requisite forms on storybrooke.gov, including information about rabies shots, other vaccinations, population control, and the spaying/neutering services offered through the town animal shelter. There is a fee - $5 to $12, depending on the animal.

Please keep in mind that town code also requires animals to be collared and leashed in public. Thank you.

I'm starting to warm up to not being in the city. It's so quiet. ~~And no one's been murdered.~~ I'm enjoying the quiet though. No cat calls across the street. No horns honking all the time because people don't know how to cross the street properly.

It's weird not having things be open 24 hours a day. You guys have an excellent place to get coffee though. It's almost as good as the stuff I'm used to.

Does this place have a pet shop? Not that I'm planning on buying a pet, but I'm just curious. I had a tortoise named Clyde. I kind of miss him.

Sherlock, I feel like I need to make a chart just to keep all those characters straight. Plus, you were right, I like the Starks - and Loki hates Robb. Though Tyrion is awesome. And I really like Daenerys.

I still have so much to learn about this world, it's so different from District 12. I do wish my friends were here. I miss Katniss, Peeta, ~~and even~~and Gale. It would be nice if I had my parents around too. ~~Maybe if my mom shows up, we could get her the medicine she needs to help with her headaches.~~

I was wondering if there was a piano somewhere in town? I haven't played since I arrived here, and I think it would make me feel less homesick.
