Right. So things worth noting right now.

1. I'm in the States. I'm the state of Maine, in a town called Storybook, to be precise.
   
2. I've been transported here by a magical portal of sorts. Apparently, the magic here is different from what I'm used to.
   
3. I shall need to find a job, since I'm going to be here for awhile, and am going to have to provide for myself.
   
4. Magic exists here, so there's no need in hiding that I'm a witch.

Right, then. Now that I've gotten those things out of the way, I may as well introduce myself. My name is Hermione Granger. I'm eighteen years of age, and I've just graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, which where I come from, is a school in the Untied Kingdom where young witches and wizards go to harness their abilities and become successful members of magical society afterward. I'm a Muggle-born, which means that neither of my parents have any magical blood in them whatsoever, so I am also well-versed in somethings that wizards that haven't grown up around Muggles or have never taken a Muggle studies class aren't, such as how to use a telephone, or operate a car.

I was top in my class at Hogwarts. I'm very good all manners of spells, translating ancient ruins, and brewing potions. I'm also very organized, have excellent typing skills, and good with numbers.

Ramadan Mubarak everyone!

I know I'm extremely late but it's been difficult in celebrating this month without my family. I'm doing my best to fast accordingly--I even prayed on time each day, holy cow--but then iftar comes around and then the realization that I'm here and my friends and family aren't hits me and yeah it hurts. But I decided to not let it get me down! So if anyone is interested in joining me for iftar--that's the moment Muslims break their fast with loads of food when the sun sets for all of the non-Muslims out there--let me know. I might not be the best cook but I have a few tricks up my sleeves.

We can even make it a potluck.

You know what's kind of weird?

Finding pictures of yourself on half the products in the grocery store. That's pretty weird. Although those cool ranch Doritos aren't half bad.

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!

I'm so looking forward to tomorrow when all the candy is on sale. Mwahahahahaha!

This was not my fault.

I just want that out there before the others get here. If they're here. I hope they are. Avengers Assemble?

Does anyone know where I can buy some clothes? My suit is cool but is not really made for prolonged wear.

The quiet, slightly decomposing visitors with no regard for personal space seem to be gone now, replaced by snowfall and ice on the streets. This leaves us to wonder, did they dissolve and turn into snow? Or was snow simply their natural deterrent? Did the snow cause them to melt into the ground? We may never know the answer. Of course, either way it is highly unusual. Everyone knows that "zombies" aren't real, and if they were, they would be resistant to extreme cold. Perhaps, these creatures were a product of our collective imagination and vanished when we chose to think of other things.

Whatever the cause of the snow, it probably isn't the castle made of ice in the middle of the park, and we should just ignore it and pretend it isn't there until it isn't.

In any case, it would probably be a good idea to wear a heavy jacket. And maybe some gloves and a scarf. And be careful on that ice. I hear there may be snow plows soon. If that's the case, I pray everyone will be safe from those murderous beasts. Snow plows, after all, are simply winter's equivalent of streetcleaners, and everyone knows the dangers of those.

Also, I'm making hot chocolate. With extra cumin, guajillo chilies, and extra nutmeg. I love nutmeg, and not just for it's poisonous nature and hallucinogenic properties. Anyway, the hot chocolate should be wonderful. Just like my mother used to make it. I think. I don't actually remember my mother, so I am largely working on assumptions here. But, you know what they say. If you can't assume things about your dead relatives, who can you?

Oh! And, this is very exciting. Khoshekh and his kittens are here. They appeared via portal in one of the spare bedrooms this afternoon. Carlos, of course, has to avoid the room, because of his allergies, but so far everything is fine. Khoshekh and the kittens are hovering in the air at various heights and seem very happy with their new home.

So, mom's gone. And America's gone. And there's zombies now. Basically everything sucks.

On the plus side, I guess Tommy can't whine about being bored any more.

We should do that. We can take on zombies.

Uh...Loki...are you coming or are you going to be all weird and hovery with your girlfriend and her baby? Not that that's weird. Just...you'd probably be keeping them safer wiping out zombies with us. But your call or whatever. Just pointing out we're less likely to get dead with you around. No pressure.

I knew it was too god damned quiet in this place for it to last, just wasn't exactly expecting to see the Dead up and walking around.

Bottom line is this: I'm makin' supply runs for folks who need 'em. Since we got know way of knowing how long this fun time is gonna last, or if it's gonna go on 'till we put each and every one of of 'em down, be reasonable about what you're askin' for. And don't be stupid. Stay indoors unless you know what you're gettin' into, and how's about we all try really hard to avoid gettin' chewed on, huh?

I feel gross for doing it but I can't help but keep reading what's happening in my world and seeing what's happening another my friends' worlds too. Why am I doing this?

My opinions of you all haven't changed! but I want to go home now.

You know how something is a major hassle when you're dealing with it, but the second you don't have to anymore, you miss it?

Basically, I'm wondering if I should grow my hair out.

Heard about Captain Marvel leaving. And after I finally got to meet her. Maaaan, I'm so bummed out.

Everything is talking to me. Animals, inanimate objects. Talking, singing.

I went to see Sherlock and his turtle talked to me. HIS TURTLE. He's a very nice turtle.

James Buchanan Barnes, I blame you for the fact that my hair seems to have grown by several feet overnight. And turned blond. Does anyone have a metric ton of hair dye? I look ridiculous like this.

Guys? GUYS! Just so you know... as of today, I'm officially a superhero.

Suck on that, patriarchy.

I'm not really used to people being so open about having powers.

Does the concept of superheroes with hidden identities and secret lives not exist here?

Because if it doesn't, boy am I going to be so happy when our powers get turned back on.

I hate this place!
