Is there something I should know, love?

I'm not sure how to feel about this place. A year ago, I would have loved it, a bit of adventure somewhere entirely different than what I was used to, but right now, I think I'm adventured out. Someone want to point me to a nice place I can relax until I get to go home to what little I have left?

Is it against the rules for me to attempt to use magic to get rid of my baby's cold? Tally is in misery. My poor little girl.

You know, the last time I woke up in the middle of a group of strangers with no idea how I got there, there were much less clothes involved. Maker, that was a good night. Between the pirate and that lay-warden with the griffin tattoo...

This place is no Setheneran. I cannot detect the Fade here. Storybrooke? An odd place indeed.

The weather is a welcome change. It reminds me of my childhood, what little I recall of it. The Anderfels were always cold like this, and often with snow. Perhaps things will take a similar turn here. The snow from before was nice enough that I would not mind a repeat.

It is quiet here without Hawke or Fenris. It seems everyone has been keeping to themselves of late. Even the Commander, if such a thing is possible.

Nathaniel, before you say anything, yes, there is in fact a box of kittens in our shared living space.

But, in my defence, it's a box of kittens.

Hate to admit it, but this place is much better than where I'm from.

No one's trying to kill me. Nothing's on fire. No crazed lunatics attempting to take over the city. I could go on, but I've got new things to explore.

Hello again. Am I using this thing right? I've been trying to get a better feel for it and things being sent rather discreetly. I think I've finally gotten the hang of it.

So. He's rather...young. Much smaller than I'd have expected really, and so polite. Is it wrong that I think I'll miss him like this, when the whole thing wears off and we're back to exchanging rather unpleasant things about each others heritage and life choices?

Neria, Fenris, would you care to join me for a warm and tasty beverage? I find the winter chill of this place to be quite a bother. Of course, mind you, I can't say I miss having to hold up in some drafty castle or, you know, in a fort besieged by Dark Spawn, but still. It's cold. Quite cold.

And maybe it occurred to me that we should all spend more time together while we're stuck here.

No tricks. Promise.

So I wake up to find that everyone's gone. I'm the only person left from my world.

I have decided that, in honor of this rather odd, bird slaughtering, festival of over-eating...and yes, I have learned to use the internet and this seems to be how this 'Thanksgiving' festival is celebrated...I will be making a turkey and stuffing. I haven't quite gotten the 'how' down yet but, I figure it can't be much harder than doing it campfire style.

Take bird, add fire, eat eventually. I think it's a splendid plan.

Neria, Sarissa, and even you Fenris, are all more than invited to join me. If any else finds themselves in need of someone to eat with, even if I can't make any promises to the quality of food, you're welcome to join me.

I'm not really sure what to think with all this talk of this Halloween celebration.

Much as I would like to experience this strange festival, I cannot bring myself to be excited for it. I just miss Alistair so much

I'm trying arrange a movie night tonight. Would you like to join us?

I would like to set up a clinic, if that acceptable, for those who are uncomfortable with traditional methods of healing. I am a mage, and a healer, and I see no reason not to use my gifts to aid people. I know that I find myself ill at ease with the way doctors in this time and place work, and I am sure that there are others who do as well. If nothing else, I am more than happy to heal people from my flat, if they wish.

Anders, I would be ever so grateful if you would assist me in this.

This place is certainly not where I expected to end up after the leaving the Deep Roads. I would have assumed transportation to a realm other than the Fade was beyond the abilities of magic.
